When John came out to the house and we explained that we wanted to replace the old path lights, he suggested using some uplights instead for a portion of the lights in order to accentuate the shrubs across the pool from our porch. Then he lent us some path lights and uplights for as long as we needed them to make a decision on which we wanted. This was critical to the ultimate success of the project because we went through several iterations of lights before we decided exactly what we wanted. We're very happy with the final product. I recommend John for outdoor lighting projects.

They set up some temporary lights so I could get an idea of how it would look when done.  After a day or two they moved them to a different configuration so I could compare.
Once I decided on what I wanted they had it installed in a couple of hours.  They are not cheap but these are high quality professional grade lights and worth it in my opinion.

If you are looking for a fair price, excellent service, and attention to detail while providing an honest opinion of what you truly need and not just looking for someone to sell you an overpriced system then look no further!

About 2 years ago I replaced our exterior lighting with items from one of the big box home improvement stores.  Two transformers (600 watts each), and approximately 26 lights.  The quality of the lighting was awful.  Bulbs continuously going out, having to "tap" the fixtures to get the bulb to illuminate, and fixtures falling apart.  I spent over $1,300 on the junk from the home improvement store and I couldn't take it any longer.
So, I found Outdoor Lighting Perspectives online when searching for exterior LED lighting.  Man, am I ever glad I did.  I took a deep breath and thought I'd at least see what professional lighting would cost.  One quick e-mail to Outdoor Lighting Perspectives and the next business day I received a call from Mr. John Bowers the Owner of the company.  Super nice guy!  He scheduled an appointment to meet me at the house (after business hours to accommodate my work schedule), we walked the property, and he asked questions to identify what I was looking for.  He quickly made his recommendations, explained in his opinion what would look good to highlight our home's architectural elements, provided me with a no fuss estimate, and the work was done a few days later. 
I was very impressed with John, the products, the service, and the installation.  No pressured sales pitches, he actually listens to what you want, provides recommendations, and even recommended we use the existing power transformers.  This really sealed the deal for me.  I feel another company/representative would have told me "you need a new transformer".  I was very impressed with the entire process.
I highly recommend giving John a call if you are interested at all in landscape lighting.  I wish I would have investigated professional lighting a couple of years ago before heading off to the home improvement stores to by my lighting.  I would have saved hundreds of dollars by buying professional lighting at the beginning vs. buying the junk at the home improvement store.  Not to mention the hours of time I wasted on installing the junk a couple of years ago.  
Now when I pull up to the house, it looks great!  All lights are shinning brightly just as per design.  Oh, and I am saving lots of energy by using the LED light bulbs vs other high wattage incandescent or halogen bulbs.

It went great.  The installer was fast and easy to work with, and I was able to talk easily with him over the phone.  He did a great job.

I dealt with the owner directly. We discussed a date I would be available and they showed up on time. They are licensed low voltage and I made a last minute change that required a fully licensed electrician. He made the phone call and got him out there that morning. They showed up at 8 am to try and get it done before rain moved in. Lights were completed by 1000am and electrician finished by 1100am. The owner, his employee and the electrician were some of the nicest people I have ever hired. Highly recommended.

The experience was amazing! The work was performed quickly and efficiently. As an added bonus John took the time to explain what type of light bulbs to purchase and how to calculate the wattage. I highly recommend this company.
