MEMPHIS POOL SUPPLY CO INC

The installers did a good job with our liner last year. I have no problems with their pool workers, what I did not like is the customer service of this company. We asked for an estimate for a pool open and cleanout in early June along with an estimate to install a stretch cover for our pool in the fall. The estimator came out and left a door tag saying she would email us in a few days. There was no other information on the door tag. We waited nearly 2 weeks and my husband finally contacted her about the pool cleanout. She said she could not give an estimate because we had the pool cover on. My husband asked her why she didn't say anything on the tag or call us if she could not give us an estimate. We had to contact her because we heard NOTHING from her. She said she needed the pool cover off. My husband asked her to let him know when she could come out and he would have the cover off. She said she would contact him. We have neighbors who complain to code enforcement whenever they look out their second floor and see any of the pools around them not covered or not clean. We waited ANOTHER 2 weeks, my husband emailed her several times with no response. Finally we get an email from the girl saying and quot;their crews were busy with installations and are not being used for pool clean outs.and quot; We were very angry because it was her fault for delaying and not responding that caused us this problem. I understand pool companies are very busy this time of the year but we have been doing business with this company for years. It's not the first time they have done a pool cleanout for us. They could have looked at their old records to make an estimate for a pool cleanout. Also, we called her earlier in the season and no response from her until July.

We had the same lack of customer service last year when we put in our liner, waiting over a month for a response back and to schedule us. The people who actually do the pool work are great and it is sad they work for a company with such bad customer relations. We will not have our stretch cover done by Memphis pool and will not use them again. We want to find a company that cares about their customers.

The inspection said the pool was in good condition (the decking was in good condition, the water heater worked, and the pool light worked). It did say that the pool lost water but that we'd have to get a separate inspection to find out why. They said the most expensive reason a pool could lose water would be because of a leaking pipe under the decking. This was the company that had been regularly servicing the pool for the current owners. Memphis Pool Supply was not timely in getting us the report and we had to call 2 or 3 times to get it. We bought the home and this was our first time owning a pool. The day we moved in, there was a note on the door from Memphis Pool Supply that said - pump not working - will be on first service call. They did not come for service and when we called, they had no idea why the pump all of a sudden stopped working. Since this time, we have done a pool renovation and since discovered that the inspection should have said:
decking needs new grout and sealing
skimmers are cracked (every pool person who took a cursory look at the pool took off the top and saw they were cracked)
fountain feature - tile was cracked (there was even a place where it had obviously been patched)
pool needs to be resurfaced in the next 1-2 years
We were very disappointed given we knew nothing about a pool and relied on this inspection. I would absolutely not use them again.

Arrived on time, fixed what needed fixing and gave sound advice on items that could wait. Not cheap, but good value for the quality of work. Brooks was superbly professional. Will call again when needed.

I took the polaris in and left it with them. They called me and told me that it needed new bearring and a new tail (which it did need the new tail). I left it with them and it took about a week or so to turn it around. When I got it back and put it in my pool, IT STILL DID NOT WORK.

I then took the polaris apart, blew air backwards through all jets and put it back together. THAT FIXED THE PROBLEM. Memphis Pool charged my a $25 bench fee and the cost of parts when the only problem was a piece of debrih had clogged a jet. I will not trust my polaris report to them again.

They are good. They provide decent service. I have not looked at any other company because I have been completely satisfied with them. I spent $200 on that work. They did not do a very good job opening the pool, but did well while closing the pool.

They are excellent. They are very good and their construction department is good as well. They don’t overcharge. They find solutions. I had a copper stain in my bathtub and we wanted to get our water checked. So I asked them about it. They said that they would put vitamin C on it in order to whiten the stains and it did. They are really smart people. The price included a new pool sleeve, which was $900. We would definitely use their services in the future too.

It went very well. They came out and the pool looked great when I came back from my trip, I didn't actually see the person. I would recommend them to other people.

They were some tiles broken in my pool. My water filter was not working properly and my pool water used to get dirty soon because of that. This company has done a noteworthy job.

Over all the others, they are the best pool service company. The vacuum that they installed cleans the whole pool by itself as needed. They had different models to choose from. It makes pool maintenance much easier for us.

They are always on time and know exactly what they are doing. All I have to do is tell them where to put everything and within 2 hours everything is running and put where it should be. I really like that the company is so reliable.
