The good:
* The cleaning was done reasonably well most of the time. We weren't always 100% happy with the work done, but rarely had a serious issue.
* Cleaning crews were generally polite and friendly.
* Reliable - with one exception when they seemed to be overbooked (and it may not have been our regular day), the crew always showed up on the day and roughly at the time expected.
The bad:
* The quality of cleaning was uneven. At times it was thorough and excellent. Other times obvious areas were missed like dirty surfaces not getting wiped off. A few times, hardwood floors looked worse after cleaning than before. Once or twice, vinyl flooring in the laundry room was inexplicably really sticky after cleaning when it hadn't been before. Usually the cleaning ranged from good to adequate. It was worse when we were last on the schedule or it was a holiday and the crew seemed overworked and tired.
* Only one member of our regular cleaning crew spoke English well enough that we felt we could really communicate. So, it was difficult to ask the rest of the crew to do or not to do something.
