I had water seeping into my garage through the wall at the corner by the garage door. There is a flower bed that butts up against the exterior of the outside wall and water was coming in. Houselift came out and I met Sharon and Randy, very nice people. Randy seemed very knowledgeable about what could be done. I felt very comfortable using Houselift after meeting with Sharon and Randy. Randy came out two days to repair the issue. He took the exterior siding off the wall and installed a water proof membrane against the wall. He made a drain with pvc pipe that he drilled holes through so the rain water could access from different points and be redirected away from the wall ( it works great by the way). He also had to take up brick that bordered the flower bed so he could take off the siding. He replace the brick and put everything back the way it was. On the other side of the wall, the inside, he took off the wood paneling to check for wood rot, which there was. One board was practically non existent. So he shored that up and replaced the rotted wood with new pressure treated wood. It has rained on multiple occasions since Randy has completed the work and the water does not come through the wall anymore. Randy quoted me $400 for the job and did warn that he may have to do more once he got inside the wall which could effect the price depending on what might be needed. Final price was $450, so I was happy it close to the original quote. Randy did very good work.

Sharon and Randy are incredible!  Randy has a vast knowledge of home renovation and repair that is hard to find
in just one person. Sharon pays attention to detail and keeps eveything on schedule and running smoothly, in
addition to assisting with the repairs and renovations at hand.
I have six pets, and one of my main concerns when considering bids was which contractor would be careful of
my pets' welfare-this was very important to me. Randy and Sharon always closed the gate before coming into the
house as I asked them to do.  They let my pets out for me and showed them kindness and affection.
Upon removing siding and the French doors, rotten wood was discovered that needed immediate attention. A reasonable
amount was added to the original estimate,  Also there was an ongoing plumbing leak inside one of my walls that Randy
discovered, and he had the skills to repair without calling in a plumbing company.
Everything was done in a systematic and timely fashion with good communication, so I was always aware of the schedule
and able to be at work knowing it was all going smoothly at home. I have already recommended Houselift to friends,
and they are as impressed as I am.
My home truly did receive a Houselift!

The entire experience went extremely well.  They did every single thing they said they would do and more.  They were punctual and finished on time.  I'm not a decorator at all, but they chose colors and made suggestions that turned out great.  After they finished my house I even had them do a total makeover to a 110 year old bathroom in a house for my God daughter.  I cannot say one single bad thing about everything they did.  It was more than I expected and exactly within budget.  I highly recommend them.

I contacted Sharon as the result of an article in the local newspaper.  The article talked about their attention to service, quality, and detail.  I had the kitchen and the adjacent den redone with granite, etc.  This went great and I couldn't be happier.  The master bathroom had a major facelift.  Cabinets, shower, Jacuzzi, tile.  This is the most impressive room in the house.  They replaced the entire front door/entry area.  This was a tremendous upgrade to the outside of the house.  They also painted the entire downstairs and a remodel of another bath.  Everything, from the first contact to the final product could not have gone any better.  I am far from an interior decorater and not much on design, so Sharon took care of the whole thing.  It's perfect.  They are not the cheapest, but that is not the most important issue for me.  They proved to be the best with design, quality, detail, and service.  They did more than I expected.  After this remodel I had them do a complete upgrade of the bathroom in my daughter's 100 year old house.  Fantastic job.

I 100% recommend them and will use them whenever I need more work done.

When Houselift removed the old boards to our side porch, they discovered extremely rotted framing. So they completely rebuilt the porch in addition to performing the originally planned work. Sharon and Randy worked great as a team in providing us with solutions to problems as we discovered them, and did it for what we consider a very reasonable cost. They keep the drama and surprises to a minimum, provide great guidance on color and design decisions, and work hard and consistently until the job is done.

Great. It took a little bit to set up initial meeting but then we met and discussed ideas for the project. Within a few days I had a drawing, price estimate and sample tiles. I showed them a Pinterest photo and Randy created it on my fireplace. I loved the tile they picked for the surround and new hearth. They ended up having to rebuild my entire fireplace surround of crumbling brick, and then installed the New wood one. Also removed large hearth down flush with flooring and did a great job of seamlessly patching tile and hardwood flooring. I felt comfortable having Sharon and Randy in my home while I was at work. Workmanship and attention to detail was excellent. I hope to get the chance to use them again on future projects.

Fabulous work. From helping redesign the footprint of the kitchen to picking out paint colors the Houselift team really came through for us.
It was a total gut of our kitchen & utility space. Total redesign of the kitchen including new cabinets, flooring, lighting, & cabinetry.
Sharon & Randy put in effort above & beyond what's required. From scraping the ceilings to installing pot lights they went the extra mile on every request we had of them.
They moved doorways, moved a window, installed a new ventahood & added numerous electrical outlets throughout the space.
They also did several specialty projects for us. Randy added an extra electrical outlet in my garage as well as utility lights on my patio.
Sharon hand sealed the grout on our new tile & found us a great deal on the recycled glass for our backsplash. Diane & I really can't say
enough good things about our overall experience with the Houselift Team. We will be eternally grateful for their efforts & professional expertise. We love our kitchen & are planning our next project for the fall of 2014. Our first call will be to Sharon & Randy. We wouldn't Begin to consider anyone else helping us with our next project. Make them your next call, you'll be glad you did.

My husband and I have used Houselift in the past and were very pleased with the quality of their workmanship.  Like last time, the kind of work we needed was extensive; however, with the guest bathroom in need of repair, too, we had no other choice but to get a quote.  The quoted price was within our budget so we handed over a house key, and they proceeded with the demolition.
Safety was another reason I chose Houselift.  Knowing that the people in my house were trustworthy allowed me to run errands and go out of town.  In fact, they were not only trustworthy, but Sharon even texted me to let me know that she let the dog out to use the bathroom before they left.
They were also very tidy, which is very unusual for the kind of construction that had to be done.

The finished product was more than what I hoped for; in fact, I cried when they finally showed me.  I let Sharon pick out all the light fixtures, tile, and paint color, and faucets.  All I had was a small magazine picture of a bathroom that I thought was pretty.   (Three years ago, they remodeled the downstairs bathroom, and Sharon picked out everything then.  So, I knew her taste was impeccable.)  The tile work was absolutely stunning, from the floor, to the shower, and around the jacuzzi!  They even had accent tiles that made the shower look like it belonged in a 5 star hotel.  I'm not sure if I've ever really loved any bathroom before, but now that mine is a relaxing spa...I'm definitely loving it!  And I can't say enough about the quality of their work.  I suppose you just have to have one bad experience with a "shoddy" contractor to appreciate good craftsmanship, prompt service, and the finished product that you can be proud of.
Sharon and Randy are proof that people still take pride in their work!
