We just completed a large 100k project with A-1. This project was led by Harold from quote to finish. Listen to my words!!!! In ANY construction project, there will always be 'road bumps', sub's that make a few errors, re-works, disagreements etc... I will quote the words of A-1 and Harold himself..."Our #1 goal is that you are happy with the job, and we will do whatever it takes to get there" A-1 is not just fast talk, they are down to earth 'Real People' that care more about their customers than all those contractors turning a fast buck. To them its about people, their dreams, their homes and families. You can get all the bids you want, you can grab the cheapest offer, you can go with a bigger mass construction business, but when ANY small or big issue arises, (unforseen or expected) cause it will happen in any project, you are going to wish you had A-1 on the Job, because many of these contractors will fast talk you and are driven by $$$$ only, A-1 is driven by your happiness and the relationship, because they know THAT translates to future business, word of mouth, and relationships. The right way to manage a bottom line!!! This was a 100k job, but I can assure you whether its 100k or 5k, these guys will make you feel like you are their only and most important customer the entire time!!! FYI.. never met or knew of them till that day I googled 'great contractors in Chattanooga' and glad I did

They worked well with us. Came up with multiple options for repair. The crews came on time as scheduled. They were careful with out belonging. We had to do minimal prep work for them. They worked fantastic with the insurance company. They were even willing to make changes for us and always over-communicated to make sure everything was clear on what we wanted and what they were doing. Will use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Everything went great. Billy was available for any questions and clarifications about the work that needed to be done and flexible to help accommodate any changes we needed to make along the way. The entire experience was so good that after a year when we wanted to replace the front door and fix a few other things that needed to be dealt with, Billy helped us with finding the perfect door and making sure all the other items on our list were taken care of. Anytime we had questions or needed to make some minor adjustments to the work list, Billy was always available and extremely helpful making sure everything got done just how we wanted it. We still have a few things we want to do to the house in the next few years and I will be contacting Billy and A-1 as soon as we’re ready for those. I’d happily recommend them to anyone I know who’s planning work on their property.

We've worked with A-1 on several different projects over the years and have been very happy with the results. We'll likely use them again! Randy's team of project managers are wonderful and very easy to work with to ensure projects move along quickly. As with many things, you get what you pay for—and they've done for us is quality. We have opted to use some less expensive teams for other projects, but A-1 is where we start when we want something done well.

They were consistently late. They continued to pull in and out of my neighbors driveway. They were not respectful in any way. He would show up early unannounced. They left a trailer in our front yard for weeks that ruined our grass. They finished almost a week after the quoted date. They would not give me a discount for going over. After they left, I went up to turn on the water and it didn't work. They either checked the plumbing and knew it didn't work, or they didn't check to see if the plumbing worked at all. They also didn't finish the tile. He told me that he would come back by to give me an estimate on repairs. When I called to say their was a problem, and I needed him to stand behind his work, he said it would cost me more money to fix what I had already paid him for. I waited sixty days to leave a review to see if he would call to make things right and has yet to reach out to me.
