This has been an existing issue  between myself and the apartment staff. See my previous review about Avondale at Kennesaw farms for more details. This is a new development I am making known to the community here on Angie's list.

To start, I will never recommend Avondale at Kennesaw Farms to anyone. I suppose my haste led to my poor decision in choosing this complex to reside in. The following are my opinions based on my personal experiences.
     
     At the time I was entering a divorce, and decided that I wanted to live in what I was led to believe was an upscale apartment complex. It is quite the opposite though. The neighbors are noisy noisy noisy! Many are college age kids room mating. The management is unprofessional. The courtesy officer is unresponsive and rude. 
     The grounds are well kept, but the workmanship within the apartment is lack luster although the maintenance staff is quick to come out and resolve issues. The HVAC system is very poor also. I have personally lived in apartments with better features at much nicer locations and for a better value than here at Avondale.
     During my stay here there has been an individual that has a very loud 3/4 ton diesel pick up truck with a custom performance exhaust (the kind with a 12 inch or 16 inch pipe). He idles it for extended periods of time (45 mins or more) at 5 in the a.m. They refuse to do anything about it and even have went as far as legal action against me for snapping and leaving a what management deems (a nasty voicemail) after multiple unanswered request for them to resolve the issue. Either way I am vacating early and will most likely have to pay the early termination fee to this horrible complex managed by the most uncooperative staff in my opinion that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. 
     So, don't think twice before signing on the dotted line at Avondale. Think ONCE and walk away! You can find nicer single family homes for rent cheaper, and then join the YMCA if you want a pool, and fitness equipment.
