+ -1 moreRoof leaked on 3 occassions after this repair to the flat roof. Contractor's solution was to fill areas with Silicone caulking compound including channels and seams of verticle vinal siding. Effectively glued the siding together preventing expansion and contraction with weather changes. After last call for the roof leaking, I was presented with a contract proposal to buy a "service call" for $300 to stop chiminey leak at the flat roof application.
Description of Work: Replaced rotted roof decking missed in the new roof instulation of March 2009. In all parts of roof work, contractor needed 1/3 of price up front, 1/3 during the job, and 1/3 30 days after completion. Over the 3 seperate roofing jobs I spent $15,000 - $9985 flat roof, $2000 for deck repair missed when flat roof was replaced, and $3500 for 3-tab shingled roof replacement.
