Reached out to Willow Branch Landscapes in the fall . It took them weeks to get back to me . Office manager finally responded and said a project manager would reach out and plan for the project in the spring .Then crickets again. Never hear back, never got a hold of them nothing.. Finally, got a email in February from them saying they were not taking any other projects. Complete waste of time dealing with this company.

We contracted with Willow Branch in April 2015 to build out the backyard of our new house build including hardscaping & landscaping. Over the last year we have had nothing but problems with this company including: • Paid our 20% deposit and our promised start date slipped 6 weeks from the beginning of May to mid-June with weather being the excuse even though the weather was normal that time of year. • The project which we were told would take 3 weeks ended up taking closer to 5-6 weeks to ‘complete’. • This led to Willow branch laying our sod and plants in the extreme heat of late July/early August forcing us to run up a water bill in the hundreds of dollars just trying to keep the new sod alive. Quite a few plants died due to the heat which they promised to replace only some of which were and only after repeated calls to replace them. • The sod ended up patchy due to the extreme heat and lack of any prep work done to the soil by Willow Branch. • We had a dry creek (stones/rocks) put in our swale only to find out that this was against the city code and that Willow Branch hadn’t gotten plans for this approved by the city of Brentwood. • WB claimed they did rock swales all the time and never had a problem while the city made it pretty clear they should have known this wouldn’t be allowed. • WB tried to tell us to forget about it and just wait and see if the city complained again while asking for payment for the work they had done in the swale. • I reached out directly to the city to find out the true story which according to the city inspector was that Willow Branch should have been aware of the regulations and that the rocks would have to be removed. • WB owner consistently told us that he was there for us and would work with us and make us happy except he never returned phone calls or emails except when he was looking for a payment. • Eventually the rocks were removed per the city’s request and we paid the balance minus $500 as Willow Branch still had plants to replace and was still to lay sod in our swale. • We reached out to Willow Branch several times to ask if we needed another landscaper to finish the work and WB said they would always stand by their work and would lay the sod and replace the plants. • The next day several plants were replaced though others never were (early May 2016). • Since then we have called WB multiple times and sent several emails asking when the sod would be laid in the swale and the rest of the dead plants replaced and have never gotten a call back or been able to get anyone to answer our calls. • We are now looking to other vendors to finish the work and will have to eat the cost that Willow Branch was paid for. TLDR: I would avoid this company at all costs. They don’t stand behind their work, they don’t return calls (unless you owe them money) and they don’t appear to understand the city codes (or care about them). Their work is sub-par, they left a mess when they finished up, and they never finished up the punch list they had agreed too. For months they kept telling us they would finish the work and yet they never did and now we have a mess of a swale that we need to finish ourselves. There are many good landscaping companies in the Nashville area but if you decide to still go with Willow Branch then buyer beware.

Justin came out has scheduled to bid my project, said he would get back with me with a proposal within a week or so. Three weeks later I called Justin to follow up. Justin told me he would have a proposal by the end of the week. That was three weeks ago. I contacted this company because they do all the landscaping for our subdivision. Scratch another landscaper off the list.

When I looked at that estimate, that I received back from the contractor, personally, more than one week after the initial request for the appraisal was made..... I was in awe. I just looked at him and said, "Are you kidding me? I mean, I understand that it's labor intensive work...but $1,500?" I liked the guy that did the yard work. He was super nice and approachable. But, in my opinion, I can plant my own flowers and plants and spend that money elsewhere. Maybe, I am just naive at the cost of landscaping, but I wasn't asking much and my flower beds were not, at all, in horrible shape to begin with. Needless to say, I rejected the opportunity for Willow Branch Landscaping. I ended up hiring Steven Tatum this summer (2014). He got the job done for a great price and saved my back from some hard labor. Steven Tatum is the owner of "Lawn Ranger" in Spring Hill, Leiper's Fork, and surrounding areas.

Again, their services were not required.

They showed up on time and completed the work as described. There was some confusion on what was to be done with the on site workers but when we called the designer and coordinator of the project, he responded promptly and came to the site to clarify the situation. When some of the trees were not staked properly and were leaning, they came back and corrected the work. This is our third time to use Willowbranch and while the quality of work is good, we have have some issues with the knowledge of the on site crew. Each time, the designer of the project has responded and remedied the situation.

Very pleased with the results. Very easy to work with. Very patient to walk us through the process. Met with us to pick out plants and helped us create the best plan for our site.

End product looks great. The job took a long time to complete with many emails and phone calls necessary for them to return and complete the project.

I couldn't be more pleased. Justin was my contact person and a wonderful designer. He listened to my ideas and added some of his as well. The installers were prompt, courteous, and efficient. I only had this hardsape done so I don't know about their landscaping, but I heartily recommend their work from my experience.

I responded to an ad in a local paper for various landscaping services and free estimates for same. I scheduled an estimate for the trimming 15 boxwood bushes around the house as well as an estimate for installing an French drain at the back of our house. The estimator (who was not the owner) was an hour late, however he did call me to tell me he was running late which was okay with me, When he arrived I showed him the boxwoods needing trimming, discussed some other trimming work as well, and then discussed where and why I wanted the French drain. He left me his card and told me he would get back to me in the next day or so with the estimates. I never heard from him again.
