Went great.  Brad's Small Engine wanted to charge $59 for a travel fee and could not give me price on parts, but when Thrifty did not charge for travel and had a set up-front price, I went with them.  Overall cost for both mowers was less than the estimate for just the rider from Brad's.  Great deal and was happy with the service.

Michael is very nice and ultimately performed the job well. However, he is a little hard to get a hold of and did not respond to a message sent through Angie's list. I had to call him directly. They were busy so he told me it would be a week before they could get to me. Rather than schedule an appointment for a week late, he said he would call back. He didn't and it took another call from me to get me on his schedule. Once the appointment was scheduled, he was prompt and took care of it though. The mower now runs perfectly. I appreciate that the work was all done at my house and I didn't have to haul the mower to the shop. Funny thing is, he left a message on my phone about a week after the work was done asking if they had gotten to my mower yet. Bottom line... small business that is obviously not real great at the record keeping and scheduling but are polite and do the job well.

Michael pick up the call right away. He was there within an hour and a half of my call. He fixed them both and got them running. He was a very nice man and we are glad we called him. Same day service on a lawnmower repair is unheard of!!! Thanks Michael!

Came to my house, worked on motor at the house but had to take it back to their shop to complete the repair, then delivered it back to my house. All fast, on time, at a good price.

I called Michael and left a message. He returned my call within 20 minutes and was able to come right over. Within 90 minutes of me making the first call Michael had completed his work on the lawnmower and explaining to me exactly what he had done.
Personable, professional, courteous and prompt.
Michael did exactly what I needed and did it at a very reasonable price.

Michael was very nice, flexible, and extremely prompt at returning calls. I called and left a message and he called me back in about three minutes. Since I'm outside of his service area, we agreed to meet in the parking lot of a business inside his service area. He unloaded my mower from my vehicle, loaded it on to his trailer, and said he'd call me in about 30 minutes. Just over 30 minutes later (while I relaxed at Starbucks), he called, and within five minutes he brought my mower back to me where we'd met before. It looked great, and when I got it home, it worked better than it had since we I bought it! The pull cord was great and he did a wonderful job of servicing the mower. I will definitely call him again next Spring!
The only glitch in the whole process was that I had purchased a coupon on-line through Angie's List, which he didn't know how to redeem for me. However, he still gave me the discount and then I called Angie's List and they're going to refund my money. So in the end, it wasn't much of a glitch. And after all, I prefer a lawn mower repair person to know everything about lawn mowers; so I can forgive him for not knowing everything about technological conveniences!

Our Honda push mower would not start. Mr. Carlisle came to our house the same day I called, cleaned the mower's carburetor, and gave it a full tune up so that now it runs like new.

called, home...picked up my mower, drove to franklin, met michael, he took mower, i waited. he drove up, i congratulated him on his fine service he provides. single woman...love to mow, but need good mower. less than hour wait. nice. ANDgot home, mowed until 9:30 pm. Sharp blades = nice looking lawn. very nice. so happy. Honda mowers help lots. right Michael?

Michael did an excellent job...above and beyond. I would use him again in a heartbeat and actually, already have. ;)

I needed to get my lawn mower serviced for spring. Blade sharpened, oil..etc. Since I don't live in Franklin, I met Michael in a public parking lot off 65 and 96. He picked up the mower, serviced it, and brought it back all in 30 minutes. He is honest, professional, and knowledgable. Definitely worth the drive from Nashville. So happy to find someone I can trust (and afford!) with this service every year.

We called based on their flyer and even though the special had expired, they came out the next day to look at our ailing mower. It was beyond their on-site repair, but they took it to the shop and had it back to us within 3 days, working great. Price was as quoted.

Thrifty Lawn Care does high quality work. They are very easy to work with. I love their work and the staff. They are very friendly. I think our lawn looks a whole lot better than before we used them.
