The vast majority of the questions I asked, he said he would have to research. He did give me a few opinions and some information on a couple of other issues. I believe he would be very helpful in other areas had I needed it, but was only a little help for my specific needs. He still charged me (considerably too much in my opinion) as if he had answered my questions.

Went really well. Having retired in the middle of last year, starting social security, dipping in to my retirement, medical expenses, health insurance...among other things, I needed a real professional. Terry is very friendly and easy to work with and obviously knows his "stuff". Two things I'm most impressed with when I'm looking to hire someone are how quickly they get back with me when you contact their business and making me feel valued as a client/customer. Terry excels at both. I highly recommend Terry for tax preparation.

After nearly 10 months from the engagement to the posting of the review, it is difficult for me to recall any matters that were a concern at the time and I do not recall any matters that were mentioned to me at the time. Consequently, I have no substantial way to reply other than to say that we desire everyone to have as positive experience possible when you are dealing with a subject such as income taxes and the IRS. If someone has a concern with our service, we readily welcome them to be candid with me and I [Member Name Removed] do my best to address the matter. Hopefully, an examination of the other Angie's list member reviews [Member Name Removed] reflect that this is the exception to the typical review, which is normally all A's. I received Mr. Hendrixson's name and contact information from my financial planner. I e-mailed, and Mr. Hendrixson called me the same day. I asked for income tax preparation for our family, and noted that we had some substantial tax questions. While on the phone, Mr. Hendrixson asked a variety of very good questions to get background on our situation and scheduled an appointment for us to come see him; his office is in his home. After taking sufficient time to look at our unique tax situations, Mr. Hendrixson prepared our returns, offered information for planning our taxes in 2014, and made it clear that he wanted to be a reference for our family regarding any kind of tax issues. He offered a discount for new clients because it takes so long to gather all the information. A totally excellent experience with a CPA who paid great attention to detail and how best to prepare taxes for our current and future benefit. He will do our taxes from now on as well as consult on all our tax issues!
