Glen and his crew were very professional. They showed up early in the morning and worked throughout the day. Glen was very good at keeping in touch about scheduling and was always prompt at returning phone calls and answering any questions. I got several estimates on the work and Glen's was the best price. Overall, the experience was a very positive one and I highly recommend him.

I look forward to working with Mr. Hutchins again. I am waiting for my furnishings from Eugene to arrive.

My week was going badly already and when I saw the obvious wet spot on the wall of the garage I knew I was in for a bad run. I consulted with all my friends and no one could recommend anyone so I consulted Angie's List and came up with Glen's name. I called him one time and he answered, I told him my plight and he said he could come over first thing in the morning - just the fact that he answered his phone and was so kind to me meant a lot. He showed up on time and laid my fears of gigantic catastrophe to rest, said that the wall didn't appear to have any major damage, it would dry out and be fine - and that he had a plumber friend who would give me a call shortly - then he left. I don't think he was here 30 minutes. The plumber called 45 minutes later, showed up promptly 30 minutes after that and had the pipe replaced an hour later. I could not have been happier with my treatment by everyone and by the results.

The project went very well. Glen and his crew were always on time and were always very kind and professional. Glen provided helpful suggestions along the way, but was also willing to work with the vision that we had for the space. He is very honest. We never worried about whether they were cutting corners. They made efforts to create as little disruption as possible, which was important because we have a young child in the house. We spoke to four other contractors before hiring Glen. Two of them were very unresponsive after the initial visit. We had a better feeling about Glen than any of them and his pricing was very competitive. His initial estimate for price and time to complete the job was right on.

The job went very well. Glen did a great sketch of the front porch for the carpenter to work from. He was always available for phone calls, and his contractors were on time every day until the job was finished. He would check in on them from time to time and deliver materials so they could keep working. He allowed me (a DIYer when it's convenient) to have a say in everything that they did and the materials they used. In some cases, I would change the design a little on the fly and they handled it without complaint. When the job was finished, Glen provided me with a detailed invoice which also happened to be several hundred dollars under his estimate. And the front porch looks great!

I called three contractors before finding one that would do this work. Glen gave me an estimate and did the work within a week.

Overall it was a good experience.

We have remodeled several homes in our life-time and dealt with many contractors. We can honestly say that Imperial has been the best. Not only are they skilled and experienced, but they are also responsible, keeping their appointments, returning phone calls, and communicating with the customer. As if that were not enough, their prices are reasonable! We're so pleased with Imperial that we plan to make them our permanent contractor, for they are skilled in every aspect of home building and remodeling. We're only sorry we did not find them sooner.

We interviewed several contractors and architects for many months before deciding to hire a design/build company (NOT Glen) to remodel our house. After we had spent $4000 on plans with them only to find out that they were about $100K over budget before we'd even gotten started, a friend who was using Glen on his remodel suggested we give him a call. Glen came over to talk to us about what we wanted to build and he immediately had some suggestions that seemed better than what all of the other people had suggested, and he called us back after a few hours and "pulling some numbers together" and it sounded like he would be able to build what we wanted to build within our budget. We made several changes and additions to the plan as we went along, so we ended up spending a bit more than we had originally planned, but all of those upgrades were definitely worth it! Glen was always available on the phone for questions and easy to work with. The guys working for him were very reliable.

They were prompt, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

Glen Hutchison did an excellent job repairing our windows and installing new cabinets in the kitchen. His craftsmanship really shows in the quality of the cabinets. He and his crew were great and we'd definitely hire them again.
