It was a very good experience. They were able to come out the next day, which was fine as the pipe only leaked when the water at the bib was turned on. They were very friendly on the phone and called to confirm when the plumber was on the way. He arrived at the specified time and was very friendly, informative and did the work quickly and cleaned everything up. We would definitely use them again!

not well. The person sent did not seem to understand the water pressure/ flow relationship, He was looking for a part to replace and could not find it. He wanted to dig up my yard at one point and replace my service line (was not the problem), then he wanted to replace a valve, I got another plumber out the next day, who located the problem (water utility).

I purchased a home in June 2015, and upon inspection the kitchen faucet was defective. (cartridge was bad). To be fair, the home owner disclosed the situation prior to the home inspection and stated that a part was on order and the repair would be completed in short order. We recently moved into the home, only to discover that the kitchen faucet was still defective, and actually had a broken part  (the aerator) inside it. Also, this is a single handle unit, where the hot water lever should move away from you and the cold toward you. This one is the opposite.
I hired a plunber to come in today and inspect the problem that also includes no hot water to the sink, even though hot water is flowing to the rest of the house. He determined that a new cartridge was needed. 
I called Don Wood Plumbing to explain what was going on, and believe it or not, they wanted to charge me a service call to come and look at their own sub standard work. Very unprofessional response and this company obviously does not stand behind their work. One would think that they would jump at the opportunity to inspect and either defend their work, or provide the corrective repairs. 
I guess this is that good old Welcome To Nashville, southern hospitality??..Take the money and run.

We moved in to this house in October. The house is only 7 years old. We kept having pin hole leaks in our pipes. Ended up paying 1200 to two different plumbers. Still leaks. One plumber local here in Murfreesboro wanted 5 grand to re plumb entire house. So thankful we did not go that route! Called several other plumbers out to get opinions and quotes. Don Wood drove out the first time and said he would put us in contact with the actual pipe company. He was not in a hurry to rip out walls or to charge 5 grand. To re plumb the house in fact he quoted 3500. The pipe company drove in from Knoxville and said the pressure was 120 on the pipes and most likely the cause of the leaks we were having. Pressure is not to go over 80 and our gauge was completely busted. Don Wood plumbing sent over Jamie Wood and he did and excellent job! He was very concerned that he went over the amount of time he quoted me but he did not go over by much so I was not worried. He got down on his knees to clean up water on the garage floor even though the floor is in need of a good spray out anyways. What I am mostly glad about is that my husband has worked very h****** the yard. The grass finally looks very good and we were dismayed at having a big hole from ripping the pipe up. Jamie Wood cut the grass so that you can hardly notice and it will grow back down in no time! We have had a lot of repair work done over the years. We have replaced 3 ac units, have dealt with tons of plumbers, and put in a new kitchen back in 2007. Never have I dealt with such great customer service! This company obviously cares and cleans up well after themselves! They obviously value your business.

The service was performed adequately and prices were reasonable compared to the big local chains. HOWEVER, I do not trust their employees. I am certain that some of their employees took personal items from my garage. When I spoke to the employees (called them back on their cell), I was not accusatory, just questioning as I thought I could have misplaced my item. In speaking to them though, their excuses did not add up. I simply asked did you see this item? and quot;Noand quot;. How about your partner? and quot;He didn't eitherand quot;. Really, you can answer for him without even asking him the question? I then contacted the supervisor. He was unaware that his guys had been called by a customer, but said he would ask them. and quot;They didn't see the item, and they were together the whole timeand quot;. Ok, unless they are synchronized swimming partners and entered and exited my crawl space at the exact same moment, they were not together the whole time. I contacted the owner, Don Wood, and he said and quot;I trust my guysand quot;. Ok Don, you do, and I don't. I guess we have a difference of opinion. Shame on me for leaving these guys alone in my garage. Their service and prices were ok, but not worth the risk of having items stolen from my home.

I have been using Don Woods Plumbing since I moved into my home. I always call and talk to Hoit Webb and request he send Matt to do the job. I called this time and they came within 24 hours and got the job done quickly on time and they are very neat.

He finished the job and showed what he did. The work was fine and I have no problem with him.

I had to call to leave messages for the man in charge of the irrigation services at Don Wood. Played phone tag, but set up both the fall flush out and spring start-up for our irrigation system. The plumber they sent in the spring cut off the tops of the P.V.C. pipes for the shut-off valves on our system without even asking me! He reassured me that this is what they always do and they would reconnect in the spring. When the (different) plumber arrived in the spring to reconnect, he charged me the full abmount for normal maintenence and let me know that there was now a $100 part that would need to be replaced. When I called the manager with my concerns that the way my system was handled in the fall may have caused the need for repair, I could not get past the secretary who sent me an email reply. Keeping my business was not important enough to this company to rate a personal phone call or email exchange with the manager.

Horrible experience - This plumber obviously did not give us good guidance on the knocking pipes and high pitch whistling from the water heater. My husband argued the plumber didn't think the noises were a big deal. WRONG! We now have a busted pipe that we have to track down with another plumber at who knows what cost to fix with the leak in the ceiling!

They were great to work with and helped find solutions to the old plumbing that caused some challenges.

My experience overall was very good. They scheduled the appt right when I called and set it up for the next morning. The plumber arrived exactly on time, got right to work and was very professional. He tried everything to repair the faucets (replaced washers, etc...) but ultimately determined they both need to be replaced. They had to schedule another appt to replace the faucets which was a little disappointing. The second appt was scheduled for two days later and the work was promptly completed. The only small issue I had was they twice quoted me $165 total ($115 for first faucet and $50 for the second) but then mentioned a $40 service call charge from the first visit when we went to pay. I questioned this charge because it was the first time I heard it plus I thought they could've completed the work in one visit. They agreed and did not charge me the extra $40.

They were here and had the problem fixed very quickly. I really love the fact that they were so nice that they did not charge me a penny as the work was very minor. I call these guys anytime that I have a problem and they don't just rush out to charge me for a service call, they take the time to understand the problem before doing anything. The people here are pleasant, honest, efficient and hardworking.
