The general spring maintenance was good, my main complaint was in the new turf layed improperly. They simply didn't do a good job of grading prior to laying the sod, the old grass and new sod was very uneven where they meet. To make matters worse, the lawn itself is very lumpy, after laying the sod the workers walked all over it compacting some areas and not others and again simply not doing a good job of grading prior to laying the turf. The result is literaly a lumpy lawn that my young children trip in while playing. I made an attempt to have Curb Appeal return with a lawn roller to make things right, Curb Appeal didn't even have a lawn roller and therefore woulndn't correct the issue. I would not hire Curb Appeal again, I would shop around for true professionals.

Simon Shelton owns Curb Appeal. He originally did my irrigation system. Simon always showed up early for appts, which was a big deal to me. He had the best plan and was easy to talk to. He and his team did an AWESOME job on my irrigation system, including going under sidewalks, drive ways, tree beds, and even irrigating my hanging ferns on my porch. Simon's price was also very competitive. My home won "most colorful" out of 600+ homes that spring due to how easy it was to water our flowers. Since then, I've referred him to friends that have used him for high end jobs including totally ripping out old back yards and starting over with everything. He's become my go to guy for anything outdoors including lighting, fountains, irrigation, etc. He's a solid local guy and he'll shoot you straight.

The estimate was exactly what I paid. When the project start date was delayed because of weather, I received a call every day to let me know when the work would begin. The crew was very professional and left the job site better looking than when they arrived. When part of the job was overlooked (mulch for one of the three beds in the yard), the two days later a crew returned to mulch - and took care of the other two beds for free as an apology for the original oversight. I love these guys!

Took a couple of weeks to get started due to the weather, but completed the job in two days. Did everything expected - two complaints - they killed the weeds in a side area and didn't reseed initially, and they used straw instead of matting in a few areas.

Curb Appeal was very professional with their work. They were very honest with us about every detail that was brought up.
