"This has become a legal issue to be handled in the courts. The job was walked off due to non-payment by the customer. The customer signed a contract and agreed to installment payments. Several times the customer refused to make installment payments. The customer changed his mind several times resulting in change orders that were not paid for. The tile had to redone multiple times due to the customer walking on the tile before it was set. The customer was trying to match existing cabinets. We ordered the exact cabinets to match. The client was informed they would not match exactly due to the age of the existing cabinets. The original contract was written to stain the cabinets so that they would match; however, the customer chose not to proceed with the contract as written. All work per contract was completed in a timely manner. The customer complained about the time it took but that is to be expected when you order custom cabinets that require 3 weeks to come in. Per contract, all work was completed as requested except for the installation of the granite because the customer refused to pay for it. Since it was not paid for, it was not installed; therefore, Clearview had no other option but to walk away from the job and file a lawsuit for the funds due."
