If you need the assistance of an estate sale company- especially after the loss of a loved one- you will not find two more compassionate people in this business!! They are organized in their sale preparation, kind, respectful of the personal items, and treat the family members respectfully. The estate sale went better than I could have expected! Mark and Mary McClure were very professional and expressed the utmost care regarding our home and items that were sold. The sale was well advertised, and we had hundreds of people that came to our sale. They had employees on the street to handle the traffic, and employees throughout the house helping the customers. Each item was priced well, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. This is the second time we have used Caring Transitions of Greater Nashville to host an estate sale for our family. We also used them when my husband's mother passed away, so we were already aware of their work, and were very pleased the last time we used them.

We had a somewhat unusual situation, but Caring Transitions' performance exceeded expectations in every way.
We needed someone to coordinate the removal and distribution my brother's estate. He lived in Nashville, died suddenly earlier this year, and my wife and I, who live and work full-time in Connecticut, needed someone to go to the storage facility in Nashville, unpack and sort the belongings from two large vaults where we had put them, decide which would go to charity, which might be sold at auction, which would go to a friend we had specified, and which would be shipped back to us. Mark McClure coordinated this effort seamlessly: He arranged for the charity and the family friend to meet him at the storage facility, and with them went through every item. Mark phoned me if he had questions about any of the items. When the vaults were empty, he brought the items to be shipped back to us to UPS and called me from there to confirm everything. The next day, he sent us a photocopy of the storage facility's inventory of goods and an invoice. Doing this job ourselves would have meant flying to Nashville, renting a truck, and finding a way to dispose of the items we didn't want to keep. Caring Transitions did it quickly, smoothly, and professionally. Most importantly, Mark and Mary (who handles billing) earned our complete trust, a key factor in a long-distance transaction like this. We recommend them without reservation.

They sold about $25,000 worth of items. Most items ranged from $2 - $10, but we had some furniture and a few larger items that were between $400 and $1,250. They were amazing. I still can't believe they managed to get the sale done but they did. They were very helpful, took control, professional and got the job done. What did not sell, they arranged for a charity to pick up most of the rest and were helpful in locating a reasonably priced junk removal outfit.
