They are quick and accurate. They did the whole 3500 sq ft house in six days, patching and painting. Be prepared not to have much use of the house during the time they are on the job, but they get it over and done with and it looks great.

It was a very good experience. Nathan's team was professional, on-time every morning, and did a very nice job. Even the clean-up was thorough. Also had some drywall repair work done in a couple of places and it looks better than it did before it was ever damaged. You can tell that they take pride in their work. We were very pleased with the results.

We had a big painting job, which included fixing some poorly-finished DIY drywall installation, covering dark walls with lighter paint, painting ceilings, painting over previously-painted paneling - 5 rooms in all, plus a walk-in closet and part of a stairwell. I selected Blackstone painters because, unlike other contractors, Nathan didn't try to lower my expectations regarding the drywall repair that needed to be done. The job took a bit longer than I (or they) expected, but the painters showed up on time every day, covered floors and furniture carefully, worked diligently, and cleaned up before leaving. We are very pleased with the quality of work, and I have recommended Blackstone Painters to friends and family members who live in our area.

Nathan and all his painters are professionals that I would hire again. There was good communication, a detailed contract, efficient work - just all around a good experience. They protected surfaces as my new concrete under the elevated deck and other surfaces to avoid any paint mishaps. They all worked well together and were happy to answer any of my questions. High quality of painting and staining as well.

Showed up at appointed time. Did high grade work. Cleaned up as if they hadn't been there. Good overall experience.

I can't say enough about Nathan and his crew! So professional and timely! They painted our entire house and it looks amazing! They stayed right on budget and exceeded our expectations. They were very accommodating making it possible for us to remain in the house during the process. If I ever have painting needs again I will call them first!

My wife and I purchased a 3300 square foot home that needed paint. But it also had many stress cracks and drywall tape had come undone. I had never had a house painted that needed so much work but Nathan and his guys delivered with flying colors (no pun intended). Even with unforeseen drywall repair that was happening while they were painting, they still repaired quickly and neatly. Looks incredible.. They did such an amazing job that we kept adding rooms and closets to have Nathan paint and it all came out better then we ever thought it could. Good work... good people. Simply amazing. Nathan and his team were meticulous in the amount of time spent prepping the walls and ceiling for paint. My home looks awesome. I have honestly never experienced a more detailed and professional team in my adult life. I highly recommend Blackstone to anyone who wants a professional and dependable company to do work in their home.

Blackstone Painters are incredibly thorough and take care to inspect/sand/prep all surfaces before painting, as quality painters do. In the past we had a less than desirable experience with a team of painters who simply slapped inexpensive paint up on the walls of our prior home in Brentwood, including our newly renovated master bedroom suite. There were construction-related dents in the drywall that were not repaired. The baseboards were mistakenly painted with flat paint rather than washable paint, which makes them far more difficult to dust and clean. The experience with Nathan and his team in our new home was completely different. Nathan provides superior communication, with a face-to-face meeting or a call both at the beginning and at the end of each day.. He is friendly and consultative with a pleasant dry wit. There were absolutely no (bad) surprises as to what they were going to do or how they were going to do it. His crew was friendly, amiable and professional as well. I highly recommend him for any painting needs. As he freely admits, his company is not the least expensive in town but, in my opinion, well worth differential for a homeowner or business enterprise seeking superior work.

Great job. The owner and crew were easy to work with. I was impressed with the time spent on repairs and preparation prior to the actual paint job. The crew cleaned up before leaving every day and did a wonderful job. I thought the price was more than fair for walls and ceilings in a hallway, kitchen, great room, and stairway.

It was awesome. They were very dependable, flexible and thorough. We got them to do some extra works beyond the big deal. It was slightly disappointing that I went six hundred dollars above my budget. The workers were professional and great. They cleaned up before they left. I would most definitely use their services again in the future.

Nathan and his team are fabulous. I'm a first time homebuyer, young(ish), and female, and this was my first big project. Nathan kept in constant contact with me, I always knew what was going on with my house (I moved out for a short time as the ceiling work is very messy), and both he and everyone I met on his team was so nice and very respectful. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything- and they did a great job. As far as cost, I feel like he was more than fair. I did shop around (I'm pretty type A), and I received around 5 quotes. As I said before, I'm also young (around 30) and female, and in this past year of having work done at my house and getting estimates I've had plenty of men act condescendingly towards me or ask to speak to my husband (who doesn't exist) instead of me. Outside of the estimate being quite fair, part of the reason I chose Blackstone Painters is because of my initial experience with Nathan (the owner). He was kind, respectful, and answered all of my questions and didn't rush me through the estimate. His written estimate was also very detailed, which I appreciated (again, type A). I was quite stressed going into this project, and he made it easy. I will be calling him when I need the exterior of my home painted and when I decide to stain my deck. Thanks again!

I would recommend Blackstone painters to my family and best friends! In this day and time when so many contractors are looking to make a quick buck and be gone, Blackstone proved they were different. I interviewed several contractors last year to paint my town home before I moved in. It was immediately clear Nathan knew what he was doing before and during the job. Better than expected, they came in like a small army and finished the job on schedule. Also, because of my homeowners association, they were not permitted to paint the outside of my doors, even though there was an issue with the existing paint. When I finally got HOA approval, eight months after Blackstone finished the interior of my town home, they came back within 10 days of my call and finished the job without an extra penny of labor out of my pocket (painting he doors was included in the original price I paid). My wife and I are very picky and we’re very proud of the job that Blackstone did for us. They’re not the least expensive or the most expensive but if you’re looking for a fair price and a great job these are the guys for you.

Nathan's team did an excellent and efficient job painting our exterior. ?Communication about the job was frequent and informative and the team worked through some difficult areas on the house identifying water and drainage issues.

I chose Blackstone Painters because of their competitive pricing, professionalism, and ability to work with drywall. Nathan was very clear about the scope of the work upfront and provided written quotes with all the requested work listed and priced. When I requested changes to the work, he was quick to update the quote and provide me new pricing information. I appreciated this, and it set him apart from some of the other painters I interviewed. Nathan also took care of patching some drywall and even filling in a wall that had an interior window, so I didn't have to contract someone else for this work. I was extremely pleased with the level of service provided. Nathan was prompt, his crew was very professional, and above all, the painting was of exceptional quality. You could tell that everyone on the job cared about the finished product looking good. They tackled dark brown cabinetry and transformed it into beautiful, white cabinets. They did really high ceilings in our entryway, and they accommodated our many color choices. Overall, I feel like I received exceptional service from Blackstone Painters and will be contacting them for any future painting work I may need.

Blackstone saved the day for us! They were was able to fit us in on short notice after another painter fell through a week before we were scheduled to move into our new house. They were very communicative and thorough, and even finished ahead of schedule.
