George designed the wall. His men completed the job in two days and cleaned up afterwards. We could not be happier with the wall, his professionalism and the cost of the project. We will definitely call him in the future for additional projects.

George was very prompt in responding to my initial request for a consultation.  He listened to what I wanted,
provided his recommendations, and later a detailed description of plants to be installed and a detailed break-down of the costs.   The workermen showed up on schedule and did an excellent job of installation and clean-up afterwards.  George contacted me several times after the job was completed to see if everything was going o.k. He came by several times to check on everything also.  Recently (7/13) the pump on the waterfeature failed.  I contacted George and he came out immediately (on a Saturday) to check thing out.  The pump needed to be replaced and George had it done within a week.

Great service and design advice plus comprhensive instruction on care for plants installed.

Over the years, I have worked with many contractors on residential remodeling and landscaping projects.  This by far was the best experience I've ever had.  The owner, George Wollas, was onsight almost every day to make sure work was done well and on time.  The terrain presented several challenges and obstacles that George's firm overcame quickly and with very little additional cost to me.  The front yard and back yard were very steep and some landscaping companies who bid on the job said they couldn't even perform some of the tasks that 20th Century completed.  In the middle of the project a large boulder was uncovered which George's firm took out with special equipment and only delayed the job by one day.  George's expertise in drainage and water features ensured that the yard was graded correctly after the boulder removal to maintain the integrity of the new landscaping.  His knowledge of plants ensured the foundation plants for the garden looked good and would grow in the proper environment.  There were many rainy days throughout the project, but they finished on time despite the weather. George Wollas's personal integrity and professional knowledge were outstanding and I plan to use his firm anytime I require landscaping help.

Great company to work with. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Plants were good quality and the design was very pleasing. They also re-routed drainage from the house under a sidewalk, and installed lighting - again taking wiring under a sidewalk. The crew went above what was expected, and actually put mulch around some other existing landscaping I had. George comes by and checks on the plants periodically and calls with recommendations about watering, and will water the plants if you are out of town.

We had previously used the services of 20th Century Nursery on our old home and we were so pleased and impressed that prior to purchasing our new dream home we invited George, the owner, out to give his thoughts on the landscape potential. He drew up a plan and upon our purchasing the home he executed the plan. The landscaping is the envy of the neighborhood. The design was elegant yet low maintenance. George captured exactly what we wanted. He quickly answered any questions we had about maintaining and caring for the plants. We have subsequently used him for additional projects and have recommended him to our friends. Once you have used George's services he becomes your own personal landscaping resource. He freely accepts calls and provides advice and guidance - the customer service is impeccable.

The owner listened to our desires and met with us three times before we contracted with him to do the job. He promises to do a superb job and he and his staff deliver. He and his foreman were there to make certain that everything went well. He then came back 10 days later to check on his trees and advise us on watering and long term care. No mess was left in my yard, the lawn was pristine even after a summer of heavy rain. I am very hard to please, and he is aces to me. The plants were top quality along with the installation and follow-up. At the end of the tree job, we hired him to then do a second job correcting a drain issue in our yard. Again, the work was great and the price was competitive.
