Working with Greg and his team at Fresh Coat has been wonderful! They were able to restore my deck back to its beauty! His team of painters were all very professional and courteous. We look forward to having them back to paint the exterior of our home soon!

Like most reputable contractors Fresh Coat performed the proposed work in our master bath and entry. They started on schedule; the crew showed up on time and they worked diligently throughout the day. However, to receive a top rating a contractor is expected to address the details. Cleanliness, completeness and attention to small problems should be emphasized. The homeowner should not have to step in as a quality assurance inspector or as a supervisor. It is hard to monitor the small stuff when you just want to get the job done and the workers out of the house. Fresh Coat did the job but fell short on the small details. They offered to make it right afterwards, but it was easier to do the cleaning and touch up ourselves since the individual issues were not large and we wanted to move on with the overall project.

"As much as we strive for perfection, our painters are human. We sincerely apologize for the small area of baseboard trim behind a toilet bowl that was missed and for not thoroughly sanding another small area. We responded quickly and offered to come back and remedy those issues. We were informed that it was "no big deal". To be clear, it WAS a big deal to us and we requested the opportunity to resolve those minor issues ASAP. Unfortunately, we were not given the opportunity. As for cleanliness, at the conclusion of EVERY project we complete a thorough vacuuming and cleanup. However, with a project that requires extensive wall repairs resulting in a large amount of drywall sanding (as this project certainly did) it's nearly impossible to trap all the very fine particles of drywall dust due to its very nature. Drywall dust seeps into every crevice and into A/C ductwork and can appear several days after a project is completed. We offered, at no cost, to have a professional cleaning company come and clean all areas where the dust had settled. We were more than happy to provide that service. To date, that service has been declined. It seems that a grade of "C" for a job well done is not reflective of the actual quality and service received. Especially when our offer to clean the customer's home and make the minor touch-ups was rejected. Our crew was highly professional and very responsive (as we are to all our customers) and the quality of our work was approved prior to our request for payment. Our goal, as always, is to provide high quality results along with the respect and professionalism our customers deserve. If there are ever any issues (which is RARE), we simply ask for the opportunity to resolve them."

I had multiple estimates. The price was a bit of a surprise for this job, but all the estimates were approximately the same, so I guess the price was fair, just not what I had anticipated. They provided a detailed written estimate, proof of insurance and references. I chose this company because of that, and because of the quick response and full answers to all of my questions when they came to look at the job. The color match we requested was perfect, the young men who did the work were thorough, cleaned up after themselves, and were finished quickly. The finished staircases looks great and we plan to hire this company to paint the deck we are having built next week.

First of all, Chris managed to get to my house and keep our appointment when we had all that snow in January 2018. He was nice, fast and gave me a flexible quote that was much more affordable than the other estimates I had received. I booked them on a Wednesday, and Mike started our project Monday morning. Mike was always on time, did fantastic work, helped us decided on which finishes we should use for which areas, and was an overall professional and great guy to have in our home. Great company. Highly recommend them, and will use them for future painting projects!

Initially a room was left off of the quote but was told it was included. This led to paying more than initial quote. Greg did reduce the cost of the extra room but still was more than initial. The actual work portion was painful. So they finish for the first time, I was dissatisfied so workers came back. This happened 3 times total. Chris(main guy) was the one who came out the second time. Instead of the professional just looking at the shoddy work and fixing it, I had to go through and show him all the places that were no good. He said he would come back in the morning and fix it. The third time(the next morning) Chris was no where to be found but one of the workers showed up. Guess what...had to show him everything again. He worked that day and finished up with another poor final product. I didn't bother with them coming out again. Greg asked me multiple times if I was happy, which I never answered because he probably would have tried to send them back out. Final product Paint is no good. Multiple places where they tried to repair a section of the walls already painted and just repainted that area..see it plain as day. Other places where they attempted skimming and failed miserably. For straight up painting they may be OK if the wall is in great shape but for a wall that needs work good luck. Greg told me he put the wrong guys on the job and also knocked a couple hundred off the total. It was a frustrating experience to say the least.

We are extremely satisfied. One guy finished it all in 7 hours with a lunch break. I was shopping for someone who could do it for under $500. Not only did Fresh Coat come in under budget, all calls and emails to the office were handled promptly and professionally. We have a few more rooms that need a fresh color of paint, and I definitely will be calling Fresh Coat again!

The Fresh Coat team is amazing! Our home interior job was a big one; and, through the entire process, the men were professional, perfectionists, tidy, on time, trustworthy, friendly, and genuinely caring about the outcome of the project. I had enough faith and trust in these men to leave a key while I was out of town. The products used were of high quality, and very high standards were used in the application. I am so grateful to find Fresh Coat and will definitely call them when it's time to paint our home's exterior.

Fantastic! Very professional from beginning to end. Painters were courteous and conscientious. Started on time every day and cleaned up so we could function at the end of the day. Professional high quality work was preformed and the few small imperfections ( they are human ) were taken care of with out hesitation in a timely fashion. They were recommended to me and I would definitely recommend them to anyone as well.

I'm extremely pleased with the work Fresh Coat did in my home. They paid excellent attention to detail and I'm very happy with the results. The crew was organized and kept their supplies cornered to a nice clean spot in the garage. I felt comfortable having them as part of the family for a few days. I will be using them again soon.

I'd highly recommend Fresh Coat for any painting projects. I got quotes and time estimates from several companies and Fresh Coat was the best combination of value while still providing the things that were important to me as a home owner (bonded, insured, etc).
The painters arrived right at the scheduled time every day and never left any messes. Things were stored away cleanly at the end of every workday. And most importantly everything looks great. They did a wonderful job and I have no complaints whatsoever.
