My wife and I moved to Fairview, TN from Arizona last November. We knew few people and needed some electrical work done in our new home. It is scary when you have no experience with local technicians and we ended up reaching out to Dave Hill at Invictus for some needed electrical changes. It turned into a great experience and Dave and team met our needs and recently we had them complete some additional work. I look forward to future opportunities to work with Dave and his team on small and larger projects.
Update: July 29, 2025
We had problems with a smoke/co2 detector and second one failed over the weekend. Dave Hill’s assistant Sophia was able to work us in and Dave was able replace two units and replace batteries in 4 others. Of Course the faulty unit was on the 17 foot ceiling. Thanks Dave, sleep has improved.

It was easy to schedule my appointment with Invictus Electric, and have it confirmed. David arrived promptly, was knowledgeable, did great work, and charged us a reasonable amount! We will definitely be using Invictus again and highly recommend this company!

Ceiling Fan Repair
The 2 men (Rolando/friend) who came did a great job; the friend could speak no English (hard to communicate with him). HOWEVER, I asked for what was stated when I searched out local "Electricians" to be a "FREE Estimate," and I thought that's what they were doing as they pulled things apart. BUT they repaired the overhead light/fan switch without telling me the cost first. When I asked the cost Rolando politely said he didn't know and his boss would send a bill. The cost ($289) was more than we paid for the light/fan in the first place a year ago!!! Had I known that up front, I would not have hired them. I responded to the bill sent to me from David Hill that I thought $289 for an hour (or less) of work was steep; he responded that I should value their work & his costs more. That he'd already discounted the bill (which required NO PARTS) by $100 &, with all that, my cost was just $12 an hour!! With that discount, the job would've been $38; outrageous! I won't use him or Angie's again

David has done several jobs for us and we have been really happy with his work and would recommend him. He did all the electrical work on a new garage we built, this was a big job. He pulled the permits, ran a new line, installed a new panel, installed lighting and switches. He also completed the wiring and lighting for a remodel we did. Would hire him again, he’s nice guy and does good work.

"Thanks for the review, but the amount charged was not $390, it was a GFCI replacement which are an expensive component to begin with. After taxes and fuel the business only made $15, Thanks"

Invictus electrical has been absolutely incredible. After a couple disappointing experiences with other electricians in the area, we contacted Invictus and will never use anyone else! Dave is quick to reply and provide quotes for projects, and he/his employees are timely, respectful, and excellent at their work. We have shared Invictus as a resource to several of our neighbors and friends given their consistent, high quality work! Would give more than 5 stars if we could!!!

Brandon stopped by to look over my electrical issues and figured out the issues and promptly acted to resolve them. Very satisfied. He called to see about moving my consultation up due to finishing up an earlier appointment. Courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. I’m thrilled to have this project behind and now I can move on with my other projects know the electrical foundation is solid.

It started out professional which is why Dave was hired. It quickly turned into a nightmare with him telling us he was on depression medication and had to leave for the day. He was leaving 2 helpers to finish the job. We think they were wonderful. Levi and Brandon were polite and professional and I sincerely feel bad for them both. He spoke poorly to us about them. He never showed to finish the final part of the project (the kitchen island) we had to hire someone else to do that so we paid twice. It ended with him insulting my husband and our faith via texts and emails. If it weren’t for the 2 young men he would not have a business. Levi and Brandon thank you. Anyone reading this CAUTION with Dave. Good Luck with him.

Regarding the issue of me leaving the job site, I assure you that we worked diligently to complete the original contract and even took on additional tasks not included in the agreement without charging extra. On the second day, I did leave early - at 4pm, but my team continued working, including addressing additional requests from you. I appreciate your positive comments about Levi and Brandon. They are valuable members of my team, and I'm glad they left a good impression. As for the final part of the project, I have always been clear that I wouldn't accept full payment until all work was completed, including the island installation. I understand your frustration, but it's important to follow the contract terms. Regarding the interactions, I must clarify that my intention was never to insult your husband or your faith. I apologize if my comment of "I know football can be like a religion for people" was misinterpreted. Regarding your remark about not having a business without my crew, The Invisible hand of the market clearly agrees with this statement, as do all my other reviews. I'm a failure! In conclusion, I'm sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction, and I'm always striving to improve my services.
