I had a issue come up that was quite uncomfortable.  When I called office I did not have to wait they were able to get me right in, and for that I was thankful.  After my examination Dr. Walter Boyanton was unable to care for the problem but was able to send me immediately to a surgeon that very day. Looking back I can say I was very pleased with the care I recieved from this office and I will use the office in the future.

I had just moved to the area and was in need of a physycian for my family.  I was pleasantly surprised when I called Dr. Lia Boyanton office to schedule a visit to have thyroid checked that the friendly staff was able to schedule a office visit promptly as I was almost out of my medication.  I usually work out of town so I thought I would have to wait awhile to get appointment but that was not the case.  I always have to have blood work done and was surprised that they also did blood work in house, that was a blessing that with my already busy schedule that I didn't have to find time to run to another location for blood work.  After my short wait I was placed in a room for just a few moments before the DOCTOR (not nurse practioner) showed up. Dr. Lia made me feel comfortable from the get go, she seems to be a people person great for me because I had visited one other doctor in area which was very unprofessional promising myself I would keep  looking for the right doctor, I found her:)

I can call the office even if I don’t have an appointment, for me to get in and I can usually get in the same day. He listens to his patients. The office environment is outstanding.

The staff and the facility is fine, and it is very convenient; I can almost walk there. They are kind of laid back which is nice. It is a small town sort of environment. It is nothing like a massive rush and stampede of people waiting in line. It is way more laid back and low key. There are doctors where people get very little time. But Dr. Boyanton takes whatever time is necessary which is nice. If I make an appointment, I will get one next week basically as opposed to the same afternoon. The office environment is pleasant, very professional and clean. I don't recall any issues with regard to punctuality. The staff is pretty friendly, and his bedside manner is very good. There haven't been any issues with the billing and administration. At one point, they didn't take a credit card or something like that; it was checks only. I don't recall if that was exactly the nature of it, I don't know if their machine was down for the day. It could have been just an isolated incident.
