"Thank you Mrs. Burnette! It was a pleasure to work with you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both!"
"Ms. (member name removed), I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Tiger Paws TWO YEARS ago. The company is now under new ownership as of January of this year. I purchased the company from Mark Beatty. He and his father Dennis always made customer satisfaction their number one priority. I also know that it was in that same time frame, Dennis fell ill with a stroke and Mark was on his own to pick up the reigns and run the business. Shortly after, the company became Ultimate Carpet Cleaning and was owned by Mark's brother in - law for about a year. In the summer of 2013 Mark Beatty took the company back, and put it back under the Tiger Paws name, and tried to get it going in the direction his father would have wanted. I joined the company in late 2013 and began the purchase of it in late December, and closed on it in January of this year. We do not run with faulty equipment and we will return if a customer is unhappy with their clean. I would like an opportunity to make you a satisfied customer. As you can imagine, satisfied customers are extremely important to a new business owner. I urge you to call me directly at 901-327-1884 for a special offer. Sincerely, Jeri Jeffries, Owner, Tiger Paws Carpet and Upholstery."
Mark showed up at our house on time Monday afternoon to develop an estimate. We have four large bedrooms, an office, a large family room and two hallways that are carpeted. Total carpeted area is about 1600 square feet. He quickly surveyed the work and provided me with as estimate of $409. This was to clean the whole house ($159), two large area rugs ($15 each), a sofa ($25) and two chairs ($25 each). It also included restretching the carpets throughout the house ($145). I was very clear in that I wanted the job to be turn-key, in that I did not want to do anything such as moving furniture.
I was provided a choice of several time frames so I could pick the best time for us which was the afternoon of the next day.
Mark showed up when he said he would on Tuesday afternoon and started the carpet stretching. About the time he finished the upstairs his crew arrived and started cleaning. They did an excellent job in cleaning and restretching our carpets. They also repaired a small area where one of my dogs chewed up a little piece at no additional charge.
Mark brought a couple of installation problems to my attention and got my concurrence prior to continuing. For example, there was an area in our hallway that we thought was a wrinkle. It turned ou that the floor was buckled under the carpet. He worked around me while I repaired the floor. It delayed him about 30 minutes but he did not complain or say anything. Now my carpets look great!
Update: The day after teh work was completed we noticed that there was a seam that did not bond correctly and a couple of areas were not tightened to my wife's satisfaction. They cam out that day and fixed all of the issues. Well done.
