Install time didn't go as promised. A couple a weeks later slates/picketts started warping. It took countless calls before they came out. The owner (father) acknowledged the bottom board (horizontal) 2x4 was installed to high. Allowing the bottom of the picketts to warp or bow out. After many calls ( 7-8 ) and TWO months later they came out and replaced a few bad picketts. Using my extension cord and electrcity ( they were unprepared) and one of the replacement picketts only got ONE nail, the bottom of the board left hanging loose a warp within a few days. After this, I talked to the father and each of his sons about the on going problem many,many times. They went from... "we'll come out and fix it" to "..we'll drop off some replacement boards" and you can fix it. But the bottom line is they never came back and never made it right. They (father and both sons) lied to me over and over again. The materials were suppose to be "treated" boards. But after only a few (5-6) weeks boards started warping and cracking.
