Bill Perhne Electric

I am very pleased with the electrical work done by Bill. I had called a couple of other electricians, who never returned my call. Bill not only answered his phone, but came out the same day to look at my project. He then gave me a very reasonable estimate shortly after that, and completed the work within the next week. He took care of all of the permits, contacted the inspector, and also the electrical company. He was prompt, friendly, truthful, professional, and did excellent work! I would definitely recommend him and will call him again if I ever need any electrical work done. He has values that so many do not anymore. It was more than a pleasure doing business with him!!!

Showed up on time. Worked diligently to track down my issues. My house was wire by crazy people when it was originally built. Very personable and professional man. I would definitely recommend him, and actually already have given his number to a co-worker.

Bill arrived around 10 AM and was very thorough in checking the 2 faulty circuits we had.
He was patient and thorough and willing to answer questions.
There is no long story except that of a contractor who delivered what he said he would and at a very reasonable price.

Mr. Perhne did an excellent job for me.  He thought about how do things for maximum benefit.  He didn't simply do what was asked of him but rather helped me through the process with good advice.  Mr. Perhne's mannerisms are not typical for this area, and that's not a bad thing.  He's very studious in his thought process which some people may mistake for being slow initially.  He's far from that and his work is excellent.  When you speak with him plan to take some extra time to describe what it is you want, listen to and weigh his feedback carefully.  The results will be well worth the effort.

 In summary, I would wholeheartedly recommend him and his work.

I read many write-ups on Angie's list for electrical contractors and kept coming back to Bill Perhne Electrical.  His prices seemed more than reasonable and,  unlike some electricians, there was no minimum cost to walk through the door.  I called Bill on Monday and made an appointment for Wednesday evening at 6:00.  I warned him that I have had other electricians try to fix the problems without success. 
Let me tell you right from the top, my experience turned out better than the best review I've read! 
First of all, he was right on time.  If you have dealt with any contractors in this area (plumbing, electrical or general), you know that this is rare. 
One of my problems was a set of three 4-way switches in a hallway.  The first and middle one seemed to work fine, but the 3rd one turned the light on only when the switch was in the middle.  As Bill went through the process, he explained how they were supposed to work and the intricacies of a 4-way switch.  After some diagnosing, he determined that one of the switches was the wrong one and in addition, it was wired incorrectly. 
The next one was, to me, the most challanging.  I have 4 switches in my foyer.  3 seemed to work great, but if I flipped the fourth one, then none worked.  Undaunted, Bill went to work diagnosing, testing and explaining as he went along.  As it turned out, one of the switches on this was the wrong one and another was wired incorrectly. 
After living in the house for 8 years and having electricians look at this twice previously, I thought I would have to live with it, but Bill came to the rescue! 
His bill was much lower than I expected and his courteousness and professionalism were evident from the very beginning.

    Contacted Mr Perhne to evaluate faulty breaker to a Jacuzzi that wouldn't reset...he came out promptly on a Friday afternoon late for no extra charge and was very professional and friendly. Returned to town to get needed materials and completed his work.I have several other jobs to get done and plan to use his services again...I would recommend calling him....

Mr.Perhne was to be here on another day but he got held up on the job he was on,but he called and explained.After he disconnected the power, he explained what he would do on reconnect of new shed. After the delivery of shed, He said he would be here the following Monday at 8:00am. He was here at 7:45am and started work immediately. It was an all day job. After he cleaned everything up and explained all he did. He presented us with an itemized bill. His service was excellent. Would not hesitate to call him or recommend him to anyone whom needed residential electrical work.
