We left town for a two week vacation on June 18th.  I called Mike and asked him to have one of his techs stop by to service the pool and add any chemicals needed  on the 25th.  I, specifically, told him that we did not want to come back and find a dirty pool.  His tech came out on the 25th; replaced the pool light, but only used the limited chemicals we had on site.  He was supposed to have added the necessary chemicals needed and billed us for them. 
We got home on July 2nd and when I went out to check on the pool, it looked like a "Catfish Pond".  It ruined our 4th of July and it took me 4 days to clear the pool up on my own.  The tech even stated on the work sheet he left behind that he only used our chemicals and the pool was still cloudy and needed to have additional chemicals added.  That's what we paid them to do!!
I called Mike's office and spoke to his secretary but never heard back from him.

My inground vinyl liner pool had been very cloudy since May. From May - July I spent over $600 on pool service and $300 on chemicals from another Memphis pool service company. The situation did not improve very much.

I finally tired of paying for no improvement and called Mike Matthews Pool and Spa Service. Stephen was a little late for the appointment, but called to say he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem as yellow algae and said he knew what to do. He inspected the "zeosand" in the filter and found it clumped, even though it was only 3 years old. He recommended replacing the 'zeosand' with regular sand and did so. He then added an entire quart of Swintrine Plus algaecide and 6 bags of my chlorine shock. The charge was about $250.

Although I had hoped for an immediate improvement, it took almost a week for the pool to clear. Since then, the pool has been crystal clear.

I was very pleased to have the situation resolved and would use Mike Matthews Pool and Spa Service again.

We had a wonderful experience working with Mike Matthew's and company. When I first called them they thoroughly explained the process of converting from chlorine to a saline pool system. They also described to me how the system works to clean the pool which I very much appreciated. Their company consists of three guys who are all very experienced (15 years minimum in the industry). We worked with one guy for the whole process as the conversion to saline required three visits. We appreciated having one "go to" person to work with. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and punctual. He was available for later follow up questions by phone which was helpful as pool ownership was new to us. Will use Mike Matthew's & Co. again in the future, and recommend without hesitation.

They do a great job and are very responsive. I have only used them, so I don?t have anyone to compare their prices with. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future if necessary.

Rep was on time, completed all work quickly and walked me through my whole system and answered all of my questions. Will definitely use Matthews when I need major service for my pool/liner.

They have always done a great job. They are very reliable and I can call on them anytime. They are always willing to help and dependable. They have charged me for the plastering the same price since I started with this company. I will use this company again in the future.
