Heavener Roofing

The roofing materials did not match color or texture of existing roof. When we called Mr Heavener about the shoddy work, he was nothing less than rude. After his “fix” the roof still did not match color, style of existing roof and still leaked in more than 4 places. We sued him in small claims court end we were awarded a partial refund of $1555.00. The Company has paid zero on this judgement award. I can’t believe this company made the cut on Angie’s list.

It was hot as blue blazes when they installed the roof, and there was the looming threat of rain, workers getting sick due to the heat, and somehow, he still managed to get it done in the timeframe he promised. They installed a ridge vent, and a few new other vent/exhaust ports (like the top of my vent-a-hood) and they painted all of them to match. Heavener may not have been the sexiest roofing company to hire, but I have a roof that doesn't leak and it didn't cost me an arm & a leg. Heavener is a good ol' country boy trying to make a living, knows what he's doing, and doesn't sweat the details. If you want someone to arrive in a brand new truck wearing a uniform, call someone else. His wife, who runs the office, does a good job of getting the materials and making sure everything is taken care of. They're both really friendly and courteous. I know other folks who have had Heavener install their new roofs, and all have been satisfied with the price and execution. 
I had an occasion to call them back to fix a few shingles that got damaged when a limb fell about a year & half after the roof was installed. He came right out and did it right away and, again, didn't take me to the cleaners--think he charged like $85 and fixed a few other things while he was up there (nails that had popped up & what not). 
Good folks. Call them.
