The day Jason came to give me the quote he was a totally different person than he was when he came to do the job. He was friendly and personable. When he came to do the job, he would hardly look at or speak to me. The day of our job beginning he called to ask lots of clarifying questions, which was fine. However, he assured us he would not rut up the yard. That was not true. Our side yard and back yard are both significantly rutted and our driveway has mud all over it. My second complaint comes from the day the concrete was poured. He left the water hose hooked up and turned on for roughly 5 hours before contacting me that night to tell me so I could go fix it. And my final complaint, which I may or may not see resolution to is the lack of cleanup that was done. There is concrete all over our existing deck, the siding of our house, and the port where our dryer vent comes outside. Additionally, there is now a huge gap under the fence (from the machinery that was not supposed to rut up the yard) which we will have to correct before we can let our dog out. When i called Jason to say uh...hey...what about this concrete all over the house. He said he would return tomorrow (despite the fact this was at 10:20am so he could have come to fix it same day as it should have been completed today). We will see if he does in fact come correct it tomorrow or not. At this point, a project I was very excited to see done has caused me a great deal of upset because of the lack of professionalism in completion of the job.

Great contractors, did excellent work and a fair price. Went out of their way to go the extra mile. If you want speed, this is not the ones to get. They take pains to do it right. Highly recommend them. They did a driveway and garage floor replacement as well as widening a side driveway. Great results.

I hired them for a 20 x 15 patio and 8 x 15 lower cook area patio. The father, mother, and son were polite and seemed to be professional. I put half the payment down for them to get started and paid the rest on the day they completed as asked.1.LONG - After 3 months a 3-foot crack started from the edge of the main patio and a 4 foot crack in the center. I contacted them and they said they would guarantee that concrete will crack eventually. I have an old concrete pad on the other side of the yard that was built prior to my purchasing the home in 2004, and it still has zero cracks. Jason said there is nothing he can do about it. 2HOLDS POOL OF WATER at DOORWAY - I knew the patio was going to be a little lower than the door frame, but I wanted that so water does not run in the back door. They made a hump there, which is OK if they did not create two low areas in front of the back door and dog door. Every time it rains, there is always a pool of water in front of the door. It holds more water than you would believe. This also creates a discoloration since the water stays there for a while after rain. Jason told me to buy a squeegee and use that after it rains to fix that. 3- PENCIL MARKS UNDER 2 COATS OF SEALER - Do not get the decorative cut. Do not get me wrong, it can look really nice if they did not put dark pencil marks all over it. The concrete was fresh and dark-colored when they finished and asked for final payment, so the pencil marks were not as noticeable. After the concrete cured, the marks stick out like a sore thumb. We have an upper patio that steps down to a small cook area patio, so there are two large pencil marks in each of the 8 corners. There are also pencil lines on each side of the cut lines. Oh, and also along the lines at various points are more dark markings. What makes this a nightmare is that they SEALED THESE MARKS with 2 coats of sealer. They put the sealer on pretty thick. Jason was going to fix this, but he did not really have time for a customer that has already paid in full. I do not want to wait until Fall or Winter to have this project completed.4-GROUND WASHING OUT UNDER CONCRETE - They leveled out the lower patio with a bit of sand, and the upper level had backfill sand to build it up. They did not dig out a footing along the concrete edge below ground level, so the rain started washing it all out around it. They did fix this. (See below)5.Spider Web Cracks - I originally thought the concrete had formed spider web type cracks in various areas, but it turns out that it is just the sealer they used. I was told that the concrete needs to cure before adding sealer, but they put two coats on it a few days after it was poured. I am no expert, it could just be a low-quality sealer instead of a mistake.6.Bands of Different Color - We went with colored concrete, but there are bands of different shades in certain areas. I do not consider this a major issue for me, but I just know that they have trouble with a single color. The worst part is where half of the lower pad is a darker shade than the other half as seen in the photo. Good Points1.They are courteous and seem to be nice people.2Jason did come back to correct the ground washing out under the concrete. I had fill dirt delivered and he graded that up to the concrete edge to prevent any more wash out.3. Jason had mainly planned to clean up the area that got torn up with the construction equipment, but he also fixed the area where are above ground pool was in front of the patio by spreading fill dirt there as well at no extra charge.4. The decorative cuts would have been awesome if not for all the pencil marks sealed into the finished product. It requires lots of labor to fix this. To sum things up, this has been an expensive mistake that I would never want to do again. They are far better at grading the yard.

Please be patient with outdoor work because dates are not like the concert that s being installed. This was my 1st experience with it but I would like to inform the subscribers and the contractors that a little communication goes a long way. Simply put talk to your customers as soon as you discover a problem that may be a delay. Other than that there work is marvelous great family team and I look forward to doing business with them in the future for other projects.

Thought they were professional, Jason is and deserves a crew to back him up. He and his Father show up first day and Jason working very hard. Did not like my front lawn tore to pieces from Bob cat driving all over it and parking trucks on it as well. Big pile of sod left out front and now need fill dirt. In limbo who was to seal it and they did it way too thick and dripping down the sides. does not look nice. Seem to be rush job, with not enough professional help. Asked for small amount to finish the sides hoping he will follow through as he was supposed to drop it off yesterday. A man is as good as his word.

The job took weeks to be scheduled because of weather. I recommend doing concrete jobs when the weather is warmer than the middle of winter. No fault of the contracter!

They had to do other things before the driveway was pored because the builder did not do things the way it should have been done. Not too mention all the rain at that time. I suggest not to redo the driveway in the spring.
