Auto Service
When returning to the vehicle after eating at a local restaurant, the shifter 'froze' and had to be forced into drive and you had to hold the shifter in gear (with a lot of pressure) for it to go (it was an automatic). Edney Auto looked at the vehicle and determined that a new shifter assembly would be needed to fix the problem. The charge was $753.99 but the part from Chrysler was $585.00. Edney offered an alternative of about $250 but he explained that the gear shift would not look as it did before the problem occurred. I appreciate Edney offering an alternative but I had them fix and restore the car to it's original condition. The car has worked perfectly since.
