Burgess Specialty Construction is owned by Bobby Burgess. I would never recommend them for anybody. I would say run as hard as you can. They were remodeling our kitchen and we had to move out of the house for four months. They didn't even take the cabinets out. Their painter got paint on the newly laid linoleum floor, which wasn't completely done the way we needed it to be done - it was supposed to go in the closet and they didn't put it in there. Then he took a scrub and scrubbed it off so we were left with ruined spots where he scrubbed all the finish off. He didn't come with his own equipment and wanted to use my stool one day and I said sure. Next thing I know my stool is covered in paint. I ended up docking it out of his pay. It was a pay-as-you-go kind of thing. We purchased things like a dishwasher from Lowe's. He said he would install it and didn't do that properly. Every time I opened the door to take the dishes out the whole thing would fall forward on to the floor, the whole machine. There was a man here burying electrical line and he came to me and said "I was going to smooth all this ground out but Mr. Burgess has told me they will handle that." Then Mr. Burgess wanted to charge us $500 to smooth it out when that man was going to do it for free. He built us a carport and the concrete of the carport is cracking horrendously from one side to the other, front and back and side to side. I know he's built some houses because I've seen signs, but I would not recommend him to anyone. I think he took advantage of the fact that we had a second home we could live in, but that's no reason to kick people out of their home for four months. They did not respond to any of my complaints. I had to fix the dishwasher myself. They didn't fix the floor in the closet - he handed me the linoleum and said "Well, here's the extra linoleum"!
