Reagans Custom Stone

My husband and I had real stone facing put on our foundation. Jerry came out and gave us an estimate. We said ok. They came and did most of the job. One side was left to do and it took awhile for them to come back. When they came back they only put up the wire lath and left it. Leaving it for weeks before they came back to put the stone up, finishing the job. 10 years later most of the work they did looks great! All except one side. This is the side they started, left and came back weeks later to finish. The stone has pulled away from the wall. We called Jerry Reagan, owner and advised him of the problem. After several calls to his cell and residence he finally came out to look. He pulled part of the stone wall off and down. After a closer look he said it appears the lath rusted. He admitted this was the section of wall that was started and left for weeks before finishing. He said the lath must not had been galvanized and water or moisture caused it to rust. He said he would charge us $1000. to fix it. REALLY. Ok, I understand it's been 10 years but the rest of the house is awesome!. His business card reads "QUALITY STONE WORK GUARANTEED" well while he's an awesome stone mason and he does beautiful work apparently he doesn't really stand behind his guarantee. Plus, while he was here Jerry said he would check with his supplier about the wire lath and call me back that monday. Monday came and gone. I've called and left messages. No response. It's over a week. Still no response. What is so sad is he does great work but doesn't admit to a problem he caused.
