One Tail @ a Time

I am reviewing this establishment now that my case against them has been adjudicated. I had my dog stay there for boarding one night around thanksgiving while I visited family, I drove in from Knoxville. When I went to pick her up she seemed lethargic but I assumed it was because she had been playing. She played down in the front seat. When she sat up there was BLOOD on the seat. I stopped the car and looked her over. She was bleeding from the center of her abdomen. This was a sunday. I found a vet open on sundays to look at her. The vet told me she had some abrasions and a puncture wound. She needed stitches and a drain put in, as well as a large bandage, and checkups. This cost me about $600. I called One tail at a time right after I realized what was going on. At first they said they would work with me. Then they ignored me. I told them they injured my dog somehow and they were responsible for what happened in their care. They were incredibly rude and uncaring. I took them to court. I won my case and they just finished paying me back the costs I spent in vet bills. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY OBVIOUSLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS.

We have used One Tail @ a time for the past year.  Our pet is 15 years old, going blind, and has arthritis.  They have taken the time to give him the best bath.  He has a hard time on the table and the groomer will even sit on the floor to groom him!  They have gone way above the service that I expected.  
We began using them because the previous place I was not satisfied.  I came early one grooming appointment and the groomer was yelling and hit Buster!  Buster is old and gets confused easily.  We have him as long as we do because he is treated with dignity and love at all times?.we did not want this type of treatment to continue.
One Tail @ a Time also is part of a rescue network and helps place rescued dogs in homes.  

It was a nice place and I was able to drop off the dog on my way to work and leave her all day until I got off from work (No extra charge). I arrived 30 minutes early to pick her up and her nails were not yet done (after being there for 8 hours). The owner was running around trying to find a dremel that worked (I would expect more organization). The haircut on my dog seemed uneven and somewhat choppy.
I know someone was on vacation so maybe the owner was just a little stressed. She was very friendly and I love the fact that it is a "no cage" facility.
