As Spring was still approaching, the ground was not soft enough to dig, so the pants were just placed in the design and than covered with a few layers of mulch. It looks like some rooting took place through out the summer; but have lost six or seven of the plants this past winter due to the frost and cold weather. Looks like I'll be going some place else to by my replacement plants.
