Paul is always very prompt and very clear with his findings. He is also a good educator for the buyers, and for this REALTOR. He also is available for after the inspection questions to clarify any findings. I would always recommend his service to buyers or sellers.

I found some items when moving in that I thought would have been in the final inspection report

We actually hired Mr Perry twice. We were out-of-state buyers of a home in the Cookeville area. The first inspection showed several areas of concern and eventually led us to not purchase the home. He certainly saved us there. Because of his thoroughness, we hired him again for the home we did purchase. Mr Perry is outstanding at his job. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I was unable to attend the first inspection but was there for the second. I learned a great deal about the home but shadowing him during the inspection. If you want a really good inspection that you can count on, hire Paul Perry.

Mr. Perry saved me from buying a pig in a poke. The house was cosmetically beautiful but not so much under the wraps. I heard after the fact that most realtors prefer that you not use Mr. Perry since he often finds these deal killers, items others miss, but he'll save your butt.

I could not be at the inspection because I live out of state and that is the reason I hired a professional inspector. His reportwas thorough and to the point.

I definitely recommend employing his service prior to a house purchase.  His documentation will provide you with a very good negotiating tool, as well as helping determine whether defects noted are fixable, and prioritizing repairs/replacements.

Found Paul Perry and Certified Inspections on Angie's List and he was recommended by 2 different real estate agents.
Good e-mail communication, arrived a little late for our appointment and called to inform me about the delay.  This gave me a bit more time to visit with the home owners. (win-win)
He allowed me to follow him every where and ask questions.  Lots of questions.  He was patient with me.  I followed him into the attic and the dreaded crawl space.  He really helped to demystify the crawl space for me and I'm not afraid of going in there any more.  I found our time together very educational.
He is very busy  ( a good sign) and the final inspection report was a bit delayed.  The report is complete and well documented.

Happy with the service.  We have now lived in the home over a year and we have not had any issues arise that were not pointed out in the inspection.  He found things in the attic that we would never have found without a professional inspection.

Mr. Perry arrived promptly and thoroughly examined the exterior, grounds & decks,roofing & attic, heating & cooling, interior & basement, kitchen& laundry areas, bathrooms, plumbing & electric, structural & crawl spaces and spent several hours on the inspection. His report  that we received the next day by email was approximately 11 pages long with 3 pages of color photos.
We had several follow-up questions about his findings and he responded with full explanations. He offered to be available should we have further questions about his report.

The entire inspection took most of a morning.  The crawl space, living area, attic and outside was inspected.  The subsequent report was very complete and specific.

He was good. He's very professional, punctual, very thorough and has very detailed reports, he included pictures of defects. He's personable and reliable. He was just amazing.

He is extremely ethical and is excellent at finding safety issues in the home he is inspecting. His reports are very accurate and thorough. I will hire him again in the future.
