Thier price was competitive and they told us they were insured. When we later received thier certificate of insurance we found out they carry NO workmans comp or general liability. The only coverage thier certificate showed was a business owners policy, which did us no good. Thankfully no one was injured during the job. Communication was good initially, when we asked them to meet us onsite they made themselves available. After construction was started they stayed on the job, which was a plus, but the cabinets were poorly hung and when we confronted Jeff about the situation; he told us that the house was poorly constructed - out of level and out of square - and that he had done the best he could and that it could not be fixed. The next day we met with him and the framer at the jobsite and they put a level on the floors and the walls; everything was level and square and the next day the cabinets were re-hung correctly...after this incident we informed him that we would no longer be needing him to do the cabinets at another home that we were building; and it was at that point when things went south. He had been humiliated and now decided to take it out on us. He never came back and finished the job, he wouldn't return phone calls or emails and in addition to paying him $15,000 to complete the job, we also had to pay another cabinet maker to finish the job...
