Yard Builders

Our project has been a nightmare and this company has left us with a mess. This company is a disorganized mess. They don’t communicate or manage their subcontractors. Project managers are never on site and therefore have no idea when a subcontractor’s work is unacceptable. The work from their own team is often sloppy with lots of mistakes. Because of their disorganization they are constantly completing pieces of work out of order causing additional unnecessary work. There are so many things left undone on our project because they wanted to come back and do after the city’s final inspection. We were verbally told this was a 3-4 week project, per the contract this project should have taken no more than 10 weeks. We are on week 21 of actual work and are now having to schedule our own subcontractors to get this project complete. We have gone weeks at a time without hearing anything or any progress being made.

Our personal experience with yard builders is that they are very nice people, however, they do not, I repeat, do not stand behind their work. I’ve called him three times to repair their patio work. I would never trust them to this type of work again. Large gaps between stones, zero masonry craftsmanship, and no post installation maintenance support. Pictures they showed me of their flagstone work—I can promise you—these guys did not do it. Our flagstone patio is falling apart, and they are nowhere to be found.

Top notch service from coming out to do the quotation to finishing the projects. Travis was very good at keeping us informed about progress on materials and the work schedule.  The speed of completion was amazing as is the workmanship on the finished projects.  We have been very happy to recommend them and will use Yard Builders on future projects.
