The repair man spent 10 minutes looking at fan. Adjusted some screws and said it could not be fixed. Told me I should continue using the fan although it makes a clicking noise that is not natural. Then he charged me $90 for the visit.

Called and was at my house less than 10 minutes after sending the inquiry!
