"We did pour a concrete patio and did multiple other items for this project. I did specify installing rebar to strengthen the concrete and somehow it was left out of the pour we did. We did however install fiber mesh in the concrete which is industry standard in our area. We reimbursed the homeowner for cost of the rebar. The cracking that is occurring in this patio is in the expansion joints where the concrete is supposed to crack."
"This is very disappointing. I evidently let this one get away from us. My only explanation would be that there are certain times of the year we get so busy we can't get everything done and this particular project slipped through the cracks. My intent is to always get back with customers or potential customers. This is completely my fault. I intend on contacting this customer to apologize and hopefully rectify this situation. I wish we had the capability to hire a seasonal sales force when things get so crazy in the spring to help out but unfortunately the limited number of people with the knowledge it takes to be able to service all the people is few and far between. Completely my bad but hopefully I can salvage some sort of relationship for the future."
"Thank you for the opportunity to respond. I had originally met with (member name removed) and we had talked about me coming back with a transit to shoot the grades on the property to make sure we could solve his issues in the best way possible. He said it was not a big rush to get out there as there had been a lot of rain. I did get out to his house and submitted an estimate for his project. (Member name removed) declined our proposal at this time. It is always our hope to get back to customers in a timely fashion. In this case, it rained several days each week in between the time I had originally met with (Member name removed) and the times I had available to come out and shoot the grades. Unfortunately if (member name removed) would have contacted me I would have been more than glad to let him know where we were at on the estimate. I take each project that comes through our office very seriously, and each customer is very important. There is no job too big or small in our eyes and we treat everyone with respect as it relates to their projects. I should have given (Member name removed)a call to let him know due to the rain we were delayed, but he did not give me the idea he was in such a hurry and with the rain we were having I thought he would have realized this. Again he did receive a proposal and has chosen to hold off on our quote at this time. Thanks for the opportunity to respond to this very unfavorable grade. Sincerely Bill Baltes Owner at Growth Spurts Landscape/Irrigation/Pool."
