David Richey responded to our request for a quote promptly and was thorough in discovering our needs in a generator. He provided the asked-for quote quickly and we scheduled the installation. Work began promptly and we were very pleased with the job. Our only hiccup was due to Mother Nature's interference with our scheduled plumbing connection. We truly want to thank David, Scott, Tracy, Debbie, Jake, and Jason for their hard work, attentiveness, responsiveness, and great teamwork in getting our job done. Yes, we highly recommend Benchmark Electric and will be using them again for our electrical needs.

We couldn't be happier with David Richey and his company Benchmark Electric!! We contacted him in the fall with the desire to purchase a photovoltaic array, contract with TVA, and have our system installed in time to have it placed in service this tax year. David was very thorough in inspecting our current electric set-up, evaluating our electric needs, and making recommendations for the most effective and efficient system to fit our needs and our budget. He was very patient in answering all of our questions regarding the photovoltaic array and the contracting process with TVA, as well as what it takes to coordinate everything with MLGand W. David was able to get the system designed and submitted to TVA just in time to get us approved under the 2012 reimbursement terms (this was a big deal!) and before TVA had already approved the maximum that they were going to for the year. David's crew was top notch. They showed up when they said they would, worked hard all day and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each evening before they left - all huge pluses!! David and his guys worked tirelessly - and even late into the evening, often in the rain and the cold - so that the system would be completed in time to be inspected and fully commissioned this year; he was even able to convince a subcontractor that needed to install a component necessary for the final inspection to do the same! When a couple of changes needed to be made mid-stream (i.e. supplier issue), David - in an abundance of fairness - made sure that the terms were more beneficial to us than what had originally been agreed upon. We are very grateful and I honestly don't think we could have gotten better or more professional service with any other contractor. We are very satisfied customers and cannot recommend Benchmark Electric enough.

In response to a radio ad, I contacted Benchmark Electric regarding the installation of a standby generator. My call was returned by David Richey, the owner. David answered all of my initial questions, described the equipment and process in detail. In response to my wife's question about noise David invited us to his facility so we could see and hear the equipment in operation.
We agreed to move forward. David kept us informed throughout the entire process. Bobby and Brian were the two electricians who did the actual installation. They were both friendly, professional and mindful of our property.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
