It went pretty good. He worked on rot at several places around the home - mostly doors and windows. It did seem a little hard to get scheduled. He also recommended some materials that he couldn't find right away.

They were horrible. I found one had snuck into the house when they were working on the outside windows. The doors were locked when I left and when I came back, they were in my home. It was a nightmare. They requested up-front payment. The guy told me that the owner of the company isn’t even here – he’s off on an oil rig for 9 mos. They left a mess. I had to rip out their work and paid someone else to redo their work.

The good news is that the work completed was well done and we were pleased with the finished product! Apparently, the owner/manager was out of town and others who were less familiar with running a business were taking care of the administrative end as well as the actual work, so there was some confusion about scheduling and bidding the work as well as payment. We did not realize that an hour of work would be charged to us for the initial assessment, among other things, but we worked through it. It was a learning experience for us all.

Threatened to put a lien on my property when I demanded receipts.

workers showed up everyday adn worked all day, but the quality of the job was aweful.  Steps to the deck are disproportionate, deck is not square which has some planks cut as thin as a ruler.  Very dissatisfied with the results.

I purchased a Big Deal of the Day from this provider on MAY 9 (yes, almost 6 weeks ago): $149.00 for 5 hours of wood rot repair. I got a message from Paul that day (great; loved that) and replied by e-mail 8 days later (his message went to the Spam folder inadvertently and I neglected to flag it). Five days later, he replied; and here's the exchanges thereafter. NOTE: There's a lot to read, but it's worth it.

NOTE: I have no clue who wrote the above message; however, I contacted Tre (his words: "I am Affordable Solutions.") at the above number and he indicated he could get to me on 6/27/14, which he did. He and two other guys came to my house spent 2-1/2 hours total and left. But the job they performed, to quote a suitable country expression, didn't feed the dog . . .

Though I appreciate the fact that Affordable Solutions finally came out to do the work I contracted for you to do on May 9, the Angie's List review I am preparing to post is not going to go well, for the following reasons:
1) You charged me $125.00 for less than $30.00 worth of materials; the very idea that you would claim "cost of gas" and so on as part of that fee is absurd.
2) The plywood you used to replace what had rotted is of vastly inferior quality to what was there and the difference is obvious to even the most casual observer: the wood grain is rough and ragged as opposed to the smooth finish of the existing fascia. I have pictures of this.
3) You failed to replace the venting in the fascia, so not only do I have poorer ventilation along the roof line but also it is apparent that the vent was omitted since the others are visible.
4) The clean-up of the work areas was haphazard: there were numerous roofing nails and other demolition debris scattered about that I had to clear away. I have numerous pictures of this.
5) The repainting was slapdash as well: the edges are all uneven and it looks not at all like a professional did the work. I have pictures of this.
This is more than disappointing, Tre: it's unacceptable. I get that you are busy, I get that it has rained a lot, I get that you sold 35 jobs, etc. You're the businessman and it's up to you to make sure you have enough labor supply to meet the demand for your services, particularly if you advertised in an effort to stimulate that demand. I'd like you to contact me as soon as possible to discuss what I see as the only acceptable remedy:
1) you and your crew return to do the work again (properly this time);
2) bring with you a check for $125.00 made payable to me as recompense for having overcharged me for the materials you purchased Friday;
3) you tell me what materials need to be purchased and I will bring them to the house for your use. In exchange for this appropriate remedy, I will simply not post a review at all on Angie's List nor contact the company about Affordable Solutions and its participation in the Big Deal promotions series. Please respond as soon as possible so we can all move along.

The job was completed and I am very satisfied with the repair. I am hiring them to repair the rotted wood and painting for the rest of my house around the windows. Also he installed a lighted doorbell and new address numbers above my garage. They are very polite and worked fast, I am also having them to come back to stain my kitchen cabinets once they complete the wood repair on my windows. Trey gave me  great estimate for the jobs I need completed and the quotes are very reasonable. I would recommend him to everyone needed repairs.

First time to buy an Angie List deal. Will do it again since this worked out so well.

I changed whether I would hire again because I did not receive a call back in second job I wanted done nor did he respond to person I recommended this service too.

When Paul Lore came out to give the initial estimate, he let us know he had additional jobs, but will have his employees finish the job. He did do some work for the first 3 days. He had to leave for a different job for 3 weeks. Once his employee was there to complete some work, he kept saying he did not equipment to cut certain pieces and needed me to pay for the supplies. I agreed to pay for the supplies, he never gave me a receipt. I text Paul about his employee asking for additional money, he never responded. After the man left, I paid him for the rest of the project, but when I looked at the room, he did not even finish the job correctly. He did not paint part of the room, and what he did paint, he left a huge mess. He also wanted to charge me an additional $250 since part of the trim work was so hard to cut, he told my husband a totally different amount. He did not even cut or paint the area correctly.

He will not respond to my messages, the job is not finished and I paid for a completed job.

I am satisfied so far. I am just waiting on the estimate of the extra costs.

Will definitely use Paul again. He was on time and did a great job of removing permanent marker from walls and door. Even changed a light bulb and tightened a soup dispensor which was not part of the agreement. In and out in about an hour and a half.

Paul and his team were very professional.  Great communication and we love the finished procduct.  We will be uusing them again.

They were fantastic. They’re very caring with their things. The workmanship is really fantastic. They showed up on time. They worked until they were done. They were just really good.

I was getting ready to put my house up for sale and knew I needed quite a bit of work done to bring the house from the 90's into 2012.  They were always on time and all the work done was GREAT.  Everything was done in a timely manner and no mess was ever left behind.
