"Thank you. We are very glad you were pleased with our service."
Service was done as quoted in a timely fashion.
We have used Putnam Plumbing for several things, and his pricing is very fair. The best thing about Garry is his level of integrity. Some plumbing companies see opportunity to charge in every room. Garry is the first one to tell you that something doesn't need to be fixed, a true man of his word.
He does great work, and doesn't over charge in what can be a desperate situation. I would highly recommend Garry The Plumber and his awesome team.
This was a dirty and gross job. But Garry had a great attitude. We were able to laugh our way through it. He used Fernco reduction couplers, some PVC, and some muscle to make the junction the correct way. The Fernco couplers are considered a permanent install and until I can address the 50 year-old plumbing as a whole, this was the best outcome I could have hoped for.
Additionally, I would not lay in someone else's sewage for a penny less than $150.
I feel that Garry went out of his way to help me out. He could have made more money on a different job, but he chose to stay with it until it was complete. He completed it the right way. He did not over-charge me.
A homeowner cannot ask for a better experience from a plumber. Thumbs Up!
Recommend.
"The work was never completed. The ductwork was installed before the plumbing, which held the drains approximately 24" down to start with. Ductwork should have been square and not round duct which would allow for height. I can safely speculate round duct was used due to being cheaper to install. My crew called and told me the piping was low, but I never got to see with my own eyes. I explained to the homeowner it would be low. Her comment was "I need this done as cheap as possible ". As to whether or not the people who finished project were liscenced plumbers, house was not constructed where any code authority is in place. Anyone with a pickup truck and a hammer can do plumbing there. Hiring people like that should be much cheaper than legitimate businesses who pay insurance and taxes. I received a call three days after I called her to discuss problems with the job. Homeowner fired me,and relieved me of job. I did not attempt to bill because it is not worth suing someone over approximately 500 dollars. As to being rude with her, I used no profanity with her and was hung up on before any resolution was made. It is always difficult to deal with a homeowner trying to general contract a project with no experience. Budgetary issues and scheduling can get the best of a person trying to balance a large project and work full time. Those issues can lead to improper communications with subcontractors. I am sorry this project did not work out mutually for both of us. In the big scheme of things it is better to not get paid on a job than to have a large dispute with someone. I hope the homeowner the best of luck in the future with her home and that she has found a plumbing contractor to meet her needs for the years to come."
