It was a good experience. Prices for parts were I felt high but the service was excellent and we signed up for their yearly maintenance program.

all went well; but repair work was expensive in my opinion. Repair work was based on schedule cost as though it was a service call.

I had a technician at my house the same day I called for service and within the 2 hr time frame they promised. The tech was pleasant, wore shoe covers to keep floors clean. He explained everything to me, made sure I understood and asked me point blank if I wanted it repaired for the quoted price. There was no guessing what was to be done or the cost. It was a good experience and in fact the second time I had used this company., I would highly recommend them.

Everything went very well. We have a home where the upstairs floor is the downstairs ceiling. They planned it so it was the least visibly disrupting. They stayed as close to the walls as possible so you could not see any pipes.

We chose Petrie's over several other (cheaper) companies because of the sales pitch stressing their stellar warranty and customer service. We were warned that going with a smaller company could be disastrous if they went under and left us with a useless warranty. It was a very high pressure sales pitch and we ended up purchasing a new HVAC unit the same day.
The unit they installed had a badly dented top, as though someone had dropped another unit on top of it, so they (grudgingly) came out later and installed a new one.
Each tune-up has come with another high pressure sales pitch for extra products or services. I suspect the technicians receive commissions on these sales because they are very insistive and full of warnings about the risks of turning them down.
Also, the friendly reminder postcards and phone calls that let us know when it's time for a tune-up seem to be off schedule. I went back over my records when it seemed like it was too soon to be getting our last free tune-up and discovered our first tune-up was five months after the unit was installed, and the second was just five months later. Our one year free-maintenance plan was finished up in only ten months.
If we'd taken more time to consider things before jumping into this purchase, we wouldn't have gone with Petrie's. We could have saved thousands of dollars and ended up with the same unit and similar warranty if we'd used a different company. We've had buyer's remorse ever since.
Bottom line: expect higher prices and (frequent) high pressure sales pitches, keep a close eye on your maintenance schedule, and don't accept any offers from them unless you've had time to think about it.

A few weeks ago we discovered a cat was living under our house and had scratched some holes in our duct work. We called this company to take a look at the damage and see what it would cost to do the repairs. They also completed a full inspection of the unit (which hadn't been cleaned in 5 years). We discussed the numbers, they showed us the damage as well as the dirt in the system and told us with a unit as old as ours (11 years) the repairs aren't worth it because it would cost half as much as a new unit.
The next day a different person from the same company came out to give us a quote on the a new unit. After talking to the technician and the salesman it seemed like there was no option but to get a new unit. Some friends recommended we get quotes from other companies they had worked with in the past. The second quote we got for a complete new system with a comparable unit was $2000 less than Petrie's quote. The third company that came out said if the unit isn't giving us any trouble there isn't much reason to replace it. They offered to do the repairs for less than half of the price quoted by Petrie.
Overall the people of Petrie (especially the ladies at the office) were pleasant, polite, and easy to work with. It was, however, disappointing to find such a major difference in price for their work. They tried to sell a lot of extras that don't seem necessary. We are relying on them to be the experts and give us proper advice, instead we found ourselves trying to weed through what they told us.

They were friendly, experienced, and very professional. They explained everything well and did not rush. They offered additional services so I was thinking about signing up for their yearly plan. They did a nice job. The price seemed fair to me. We have since noticed an improvement in the air quality in our house.

I have a maintenance contract with them. I am more satisfied with them than I was with some other companies. I have had them replace two units and duct work in the past.

They seem like were good with operations and things like that. It looks like they did a very good job. We have had no difficulties with the unit and its done its work. They changed what they said they would and installed the unit.

Sales staff was very chatty and promised the world at a higher price. Boasted about warranty work. I paid at least 1,000 more than I should have on other companies.

It maybe a month or two ago I last used their service. I liked them pretty much. They usually send the salesmen out but you get professional sales guys. They just give you a song and a dance. I thought they were a little high on price. The quality of work was pretty good but it was not exactly what I wanted. They were really responsive because that's probably their goal to get out there within two hours. They were right on time and they were all professional.
