Bottom line I WOULD return to Maggart. I would NOT recommend Discount Tire in Mt. Juliet. They just don't seem to have the skills to do a proper job of balancing new tires they sell.

I asked for the tires to be rotated and balanced. The younger Maggart actually took offense to my request and argued with me about tires never needing to be re-balanced once they were initially balanced. I told him that I wanted them balanced and that I was paying for the service, do it. He continued to argue until he realized he was making a scene, and relented. It was surreal.

We have been using Maggart Tire for our tire needs for many years and have never had a bad experience. If you buy your tires from them you get lifetime free rotations. They are always good to squeeze us in for rotations when necessary (early morning or on a lunch break) and get the job done. When we bought our most recent set of tires, they took the time to go over various options with us explaining the differences between the tires and prices.

Honda dealer gave me an estimate of $300.00 for just flushing the cooling system and brakes on my 2000 Honda Accord EX as part of my schedule maintenance. Maggart quoted and did it for $140.00. I had Maggart perform other maintenance work to be done at the same time, such as an oil change,and machine front rotors. They quoted a set of tires much cheaper than the local competition. I bought a set of four tires with a 70,000 mile guarantee which includes lifetime rotation. I had them add nitrogen to the tires. My total price for maintenance and tires with Maggart was cheaper than any of the local competition.
The overall experience was positive. The employees were courteous and knowledgeable. No high pressure to perform unnecessary work.
