My young ferret was lethargic with loose, greenish bloody stool. Dr. Barker tested for parasites, stomach and intestinal blockages, and abnormalities in the organs. He found nothing abnormal with any of the tests, but since parasites don't always show up in a fecal float, he treated with an antibiotic and prednisone for inflammation.
