Cookeville plumbing and electric did a professional and thorough job when they performed a 100% re-plum of our 1 BA home. They added a rear outdoor faucet and moved the front outdoor faucet. They installed a new water heater (with pan and drain) and re-worked the wiring a more code compliant manner. They ran ½” line from the meter to the hot water tank. The results were remarkable! Joe and the rest of the staff were very friendly, professional, and organized. They took the time to explain how the entire process would play out. Showed up when they said they would and executed the job in short order. I was impressed with their organization. I would gladly call again.
He and a worker were waiting for me in the driveway when I arrived. They were slightly ahead of the planned time for us to meet, and I'd rather have that, rather than waiting for them to show up.
Both were very professional. I showed Joe what was going on with our toilet, and he stated that he could fix just the flapper or install a new ball-float and fill mechanism as well. Since we'd already once replaced the flapper and the problem came back, I went with the rebuild kit option. The cost was around $100, with the work guaranteed for life, the parts for one year.
He also took a look at a problem we were having with our water balancer in the shower. He took note of the part number and stated that it would likely be rather expensive for the part as the manufacturer is no longer in business. To install new shower hardware would be a fee of $240, plus parts, should we decide to go that route.
A few days later, he called back with the price of the part. As expected, it wasn't cheap. So, my wife and I bought hardware for the shower that matched the vanity's hardware.
I arranged for the installation, and again, they came when promised.
The installation was very involved. There was difficulty gaining access to the pipes and some unforeseen problems were found. He was able to repair those with some new copper pipe, installed the hardware, sodered the area and cleaned up after the install.
Overall, a good experience. A bit more expensive than we thought it would be, but no surprise increases.
I'd say they certainly earned their money with the installation of the shower hardware.
