He arrived on time and stayed for 2 1/2 hrs and talked about everything in his life that did not pertain to this scheduled visit. He suggested replacing a whole wall in behind our fireplace insert that he called a buck stove. He also suggested a metal liner in our chimney for $1500. We was not impressed or comfortable with his knowledge. He stated it would be $100.00 for telling us this information. We stated we saw on angie's list about a free estimate. He denied he had an angie's list listing and said he couldn't do a free estimate. We do not recommend this company and are extremely disappointed. We feel scammed.

Excellent. He climbed up on roof and inspected all elements of wood burning. Very reasonable. Best part: he laid down a drop cloth and there was not one bit of soot in the house. Have used this man for 3 years, now.

He had to climb to the second story roof and brought all the ladders and equipment he needed. Showed up exactly on time, didn't leave a mess and underbid the competition by $55. He did a much better job than we expected, took apart our wood stove and gave it a really thorough cleaning and evaluation.
