YMCA at Schilling Farms

They have an indoor salt water pool with no chlorine. My wife is on the wheel chair and they have a chair through which they can lower her into the pool.  The staff would go through the machines because there are some things I can and can’t do and they would show me how to use the equipment without hurting myself. It is absolutely worth it particularly if you are on a Medicare plan called silver sneakers because under this program you get an automatic membership to the YMCA which otherwise costs to join. This is for retirees and people on Medicare who are offered the silver sneaker program. It is a freebie to all YMCA's and that itself is substantial. My wife and I are both handicapped and their handicapped parking is not exactly convenient. My wife is on a wheelchair and I am in a buggy and as the parking is uphill I have to pull all the way up and that’s a complaint I have with them. I have never had any billing problems.
