The company performed the work as agreed upon. I was a little disappointed with their responsiveness, but they apologized. Some of the problem - long delay in starting/completing work - occurred due to weather, but there is no excuse for not returning phone calls.

The four gentlemen were courteous, professional, and skilled. All work was completed in a timely way. They were careful to not damage the lawn and removed all debris.

Everything went exactly as described.

Called The Tree Firm and got a free estimate. Called them back a few days later and told I wanted them to do the job. Because of some storms in the area they were backed up and we unable to get started until two weeks later. They called about a week before and scheduled a time. They showed up on the day as promised and removed the tree. Price was fair considering some other estimates I got. Little disappointed a retainer wall was damaged in the process but it was very close to the tree. I repaired it myself. Overall good job. I will call them again to bid on future jobs.

We had a large-ish pecan tree in our backyard that was fairly close to our house. The tree's health has been concerning us for some time. We are planning a home extension which would have brought the tree even closer to the house. We decided it was best to remove it. We called several places for estimates including The Tree Firm. They came out and gave us the estimate within 3 days of us calling them. There was one estimate lower than them (and one higher) but they seemed much more professional and knowledgeable than both the other companies. The estimate was done on April 28th. Due to delay and indecision on OUR part, I didn't call them back about the work until May 29th. In spite of the months time elapse, they still honored their estimate. After speaking with their office and then the project manager calling me directly we worked out a convenient time to schedule the service. Due the way they would have to come into our yard we needed to wait for a stretch of dry days to be sure the ground was hard enough for the equipment they needed. We were not in a rush so waiting for both good weather and open availability by their crew was not a problem at all. On June 16th, the crew came out first thing in the morning (about 8am) and got right to work. They cut down the tree very professionally and not a single limb fell onto my deck or fence, even though the tree overhung both areas. They removed the whole tree and then ground the stump entirely away. They then cleaned up the area, even raking up as much sawdust and tiny chips as possible. You would never know a tree was ever there, except for the area having no grass (because the sun couldn't get there before!).
The only problem we had was that the large bucket truck did damage the ramp to our shed as it left, but they checked it out right away and sent a man out the very next morning to repair it in full.
Everyone I personally spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and that included our project manager Cran, another fellow I assume was the crew supervisor whose name I did not catch, and one random crew member (who I asked to move his truck when I had to run an unexpected errand). We would definitely hire them again and in fact are already discussing having them come back in a few months when we move our attention to the back part of our property.

On time, completed work scope within estimate, cleaned up, left everything neat and tidy, no damage to other plantings.  Would use again.

Went very well. 

Had always wanted to "clean up" the five mature water oaks out front.  They had never been trimmed professionally (I did a lot of trimming down low, but can't get the high stuff); plenty of dead limbs and overgrowth up high.  I have used "The Tree Firm" before, they took down a large dead pine in the back yard; did a nice job.  I actually started this "project" in late February--thought maybe I could get a better price in the off season (didn't happen)--by writing an e-mail to "Cran the tree man".  Never got a response to my original e-mail; kind of disappointing.  Weeks later, I called a competitor.  They couldn't come to estimate for three days and were not scheduling work until the end of April.  Wow.

Called Cran on the phone and he answered immediately.  We spoke of my e-mail and he said he hadn't received it.  He came for the estimate the next day, I received an estimate via e-mail the following day and I accepted the estimate via e-mail.  The price point was a little higher than expected, but I was familiar with the quality of their work and wanted to get the project completed.  He said he would contact me when they were ready to start.  We didn't start for a couple of weeks, but there was some bad weather in there and Cran did mention that he had some other tasks to finish.

The job itself was impressive.  Cran showed up first, on time, just ahead of the workers: Joel, Isac, Jeremy and John.  Because the trees are alive, no climbing spikes are used (injures the tree and can transfer diseases?), all rope climbing.  Cleaned all five oaks in about eight hours, debris mulched on site, good clean up.

Not cheap, but professional, quality work. 

Went great.  Best price.  Stayed in touch to schedule a service day since was so weather dependent.

Work was good with no mess left.

The guy that that I dealt with is an arborist so he is really knowledgeable. Their pricing is a little high but their quality is good.

Made contact with The Tree Firm by leaving a voice message which was responded to in about 2 days.  Cranmer came to my home on Friday, October 25th to provide a quote and we made a deal to have the tree taken down that day since he already had a crew down the road on another job.  They came that afternoon while I was out and had the tree down and the area cleaned up by the time I was pulling up to the house.  They had to schedule the grinding of the stump to the next Monday or Tuesday depending on the weather since they didn't have that equipment with them.  They came back as scheduled the following week (I missed them again) and I noticed the stump had been ground down and the area left clean.  I was very pleased with their response time and method of operation.  The job was done in a timely manner and as described.  I highly recommend them.

They arrived on time and started work right away.  I did notice that the tree climbers arrived and started most of the work before the others arrived onsite which made me feel better knowing I was not going to have all the equipment and crew just standing around waiting to be used.  They got it done very quickly and cleaned up and packed them old stump hole so that I did not have a huge crater in my yard.  There were cheaper firms by the owner was able to answer all the questions we had and provided proof of insurance which was important to us since the tree was leaning towards the house.

Service was great.  The company kept me informed as to when they could do the job as we were getting frequent rains.  They removed everything that was cut and had to deal with a small gate opening into the back yard.  The job was completed in only two days.  i will definitely call them again.  i was very please with the service and the price.
