About us

We provide computers, parts, accessories as well as computer and networking services to small and medium businesses and residential customers. We carry Lenovo, Dell, and Toshiba computers as well as our custom built desktops. All custom built desktops come with a 3 year parts & labor warranty. We carry HP and Epson printers and ink/toner. We have a variety of parts and accessories including motherboards, CPUs, memory, video cards, power supplies, cables, peripherals, and accessories. In store, we service laptop and desktop PCs. We charge a flat labor rate for all work performed (diagnosis, repair, data recovery, etc.). We offer standard (first-in, first-out) service for $89. We also offer expedited service for $149. For residential and business on-site service, the time is billed at $129 per hour. We service computers, wireless and wired networks. We service client PCs, servers, wireless and wired networks, VPNs, and PC-based POS systems.

The owner, Frederick Patton is aware I take care of my Autistic brother and that it is imperative he be able to reach me. Today the 15th, the owner's solution is: replace the logic board which won't arrive until next Monday (9 days without phone) or refund the money I paid for the screen and another $150 - which isn't enough to replace my phone. Mr. Patton has so far felt it unnecessary to talk to me. The technician recommended I buy a cheap flip phone until my phone is repaired. He also thought I could use my upgrade and buy a new phone.
Is this good business practice? Do you want to bring you computer, phone or other technology here to be fixed???

"The rest of the story: I was out of town, with nothing but texting capabilities. We purchased an iphone 5c from an employee's family member, lent it to her while we ordered a new board for her phone. It came in and we replaced the board, she returned the phone we lent her, and we gave her a discount for her trouble. My young men, mostly Collierville young men, do make mistakes, and when they do, we fix what they break. We however do not buy a new $700 cell phone, we simply replace the broken part. This is the same as a mechanic, if he messes up your engine, you don't get a new car, you get a new or refurbished engine. And no I was not aware of problems with autistic children (I have never met her or talked with her), being 400+ miles away at a youth convention for church kids. This statement regarding autisim is a low blow and is uncalled for. -Billy (Frederick) Patton"

Their service was punctual and straight forward. They explained up front what the diagnostic would be, how much it would cost and an estimate of how long it would take. They have a and quot;rushand quot; service available as well for an additional fee. They actually called a day earlier than I expected to let me know the results of the diagnostics they had run on my laptop. When he told me what the problem was, he explained what they did to confirm their evaluation to be sure they were giving me correct information since the new was, unfortunately, bad.

Jonathan came in and quickly assessed the situation. He installed a new router with a wider range that help considerable. He offered to let me use it for 30 days to see if it really helped long term. He recommeneded that if this did not work I would need to relocate the modem. Within 2 weeks I noticed that the new router although helpful was not going to work for us. I work from home full time and need to be sure I have a consistant access. I called Comcast and had them relocate the modem (when they first installed it I was told it HAD to be located on the second floor). They relocated the modem to where Jonathan recommended and my problems were resolved. Jonathan came back out to the house and removed his router and reconnected my original network free of charge. He then refunded my money for the router. I would recommend him to my friend.

I then took it to Patton...they listened empathetically and then explained that "if it is a hardware issue, it's going to be $100-150, and since it was 4-5 years old it might not be worth it" I'd used them previously and they were fair, not salesy, and seemed interested in not having me spend money foolishly. [By the way, I purchased a refurbished computer from them that had come off lease, was faster and had more memory than my wife's for $300]

Overall a pleasant and unexpectedly good experience for a computer crash. Everything went well and I am completely satisfied with the results and happy to know there is a qualified place to take my computer for service. They also, at my request, quoted a very good price on a custom built computer using top quality components and including a 3 year warranty.

Our computer was running real slow and dumping on us every time we would try to get on line. The guy at Patton Computer was so friendly and helpful that when he saw me pull up, he even came out to the car to carry the computer inside for me. They seemed to really know their stuff. They got us fixed up in no time.
