From the beginning, my experience with Jolly Roofing was terrible. They were scheduled to come out several times and never showed up. When they finally did show up, I was told different things needed to be done by different people. After the roof work was supposedly completed, I had a major, massive leak. I called to have them come back out. They said the issue that caused the leak wasn't in the scope of work provided. I had them inspect a roof on a building I purchased as an investment property. They suggested all of the things that needed to be done to get the roof in 100% good shape so I'm not sure how anything that needed to be done wouldn't have been in the scope of work. After getting upset, they finally agreed to try and fix the issue. Again, I had the same issues with them not showing up as scheduled. I had to call the manager to complain just to get someone to come out. They came out and said they fixed the issue. We just had a lot of rain and the same exact issue reappeared, this time MUCH worse. I called them around noon on a Friday. They said it would be Monday before they could get back to me. Monday goes by and I hear nothing. I go by the property and discover there is mold where the leak has occurred along with significant water damage to my walls, floors and baseboards that I had just remodeled. I take and send pictures telling them this and I received an immediate response stating they will address it first thing in the morning. Three days go by and I hear nothing so I call someone else who comes out right away when they hear how bad the issue is and get to work immediately. I email my contact at Jolly Roofing telling them the way they do business is awful and that I've found someone else to do the job. He says he had me on the schedule that day and was going to call me but he's glad I found someone to take care of it. Since when do companies schedule service calls and not tell the person who's property they are servicing? Regardless, given my track record with them, they wouldn't have shown up anyway. The way they responded when I told them I had found someone else to do the job was also very snarky and unprofessional. I really don't understand how businesses like this exist. I plan to get the word out to everyone I know. Their excuse was we just had 12 inches of rain so they were really busy. I completely understand that but communication was lacking and I had the same issues when there wasn't 12 inches of rain. Stay away from this company. I am getting an attorney involved because I paid them almost $14,000 and am still having the same issues.

He was prompt when he came out to give the quote. Even though the owner is having some medical issues he took time to show up to the job site. Outside of that, my fiance dealt with them, I just did the initial meeting with the owner.

This was the second attempt to repair roof leak.  First attempt was 3/27/2012 where shingles were replaced along step flashing next to a dormer.  Paid $325.  Roof still leaked.  Second visit was different technician who said the first repair was not extensive enough and additional shingles needed to be replaced further up the step flashing and half way across the bottom of the dormer.  Paid additional $450.  Hard rain last night (6/11/2012) and the leak is as bad or worse than ever.  Water running from the ceiling inside.  Total paid $775 with no improvement.  Damage to inside ceiling is getting worse. Totally unsatisfied.  This would appear to be a trial and error process with no limit to my expense.  I would think the cause of a leak of  this magnitude would be easy to spot by a professional.

The process went well overall.  Rob was the representative that performed the work.  He did a good job and was very conscientious in his work.  He spent a good deal of time identifying and locating the proper shingles so they would match the existing roof, which I really appreciated.  Because of his extremely heavy workload, the job took a bit longer to complete than originally thought, however, so far I am pleased with his work.

I liked their service tremendously well.  They were very professional.  They said it would take up two days and didn’t take two days.  They wound up doing a section of my roof; I didn’t do a complete roof.  They did a great job.  They told me when they would start the work and they started it when they said they would.  They finished it when they said they would.  They came up and gave me an estimate and they did it for what the estimate was.  They nailed down the rotten boards to a good use; I would have spent an extra amount for replacement otherwise.  The whole work was painless except for writing the check.  The work was fabulous.  We even tried to get an estimate from some other companies and they were horrible and we didn’t use them.  In fact, Angie’s List is really god sent; we can go on here and see what somebody else has to say and I can get a list of all providers but now that really does not mean anything, the proof is right here.  We had not one but several rains since that time and not merely a drop of water leak.  They have a wonderful web site and they have wonderful people working there and they do a great job.  They were just wonderful.  I would give them A+ overall.  The price was excellent.  The quality was excellent.  Their responsiveness was excellent.  Their punctuality was excellent.  Their professionalism was excellent.  I would absolutely use them again in the future and I would recommend them to anybody that had anything to do with roofing.

I called Jolly Roofing and explained what I needed.  I was told it would be 10-12 days before they could come out and evaluate/complete the work because they were very busy with storm repairs.  They were exactly at the the 12 day mark when they called to set up my appointment.   The roofer called me again (at my request) with the actual repair cost after he saw the damage.  The work was well done.  My phone contacts were always professional, and I will use them again if I need to. 

During a recent windstorm, we had one complete shingle (consisting of 3 tabs) and one "tab" shingle to blow off. Also, there were about 6 to 8 complete shingles that had been "unglued" by the wind in their overlapping positions. I contacted Jolly Roofing after seeing their rating and reviews on Angie's List. I called early in the morning, before business hours, left a voice mail message, and asked that I be contacted. I was contacted by Gary approximately 10am. I described my problem and he stated that he would have one of his foremen contact me. Approximately 2 hours later, Rob Duncan called me and set up a time (for the next day) that he would come to my home, evaluate the issue, and provide me with an estimate. My roofing issue was not an immediate emergency, as I still had sufficient weather-proofing with the remaining shingles on the roof. Mr. Duncan came by my home at the expected time, and because we were not at home, he called me on my cell phone to give me his report. He gave me an estimate for the work and stated that he would do the job the next day (a Saturday) if the weather was permitting. The weather was NOT good on Saturday or the following Monday, but Rob contacted me on Tuesday. He set up a time, and he arrived as expected. He repaired the roof quickly and was very courteous and informative. I am very satisfied the the response, price, and services of Jolly Roofing.

After a recent thunderstorm with high winds, my home sustained the loss of several shingle from it's roof. I called Jolly Roofing on July 6, 2010 and requested an estimate. I received a call back from one of the owners on July 7, 2010 and an appointment was scheduled for July 8, 2010. One of the owners came to my residence on July 8, 2010 and game me an estimate to which I agreed, and the work was scheduled for the following morning. Around 6 am the following morning, a worker arrived and completed the repairs before I arose from bed. The work appears to be professional and everything went off without a hitch. I received a bill in the mail for the agreed upon amount about a week later. So far, I have to say that I am extremely please with my experience with Jolly Roofing.

The estimate and installation process went very smoothly. The installers did a good cleanup and even painted the vent pipes. I am very happy with the job and the price was right.

Good. I needed them to come earlier than their scheduled time and they were able to move appointments around to accomidate me.

After consulting Angie's List and several friends and co-workers we called two roofing contractors that I felt would do a good job. Both responded quickly. Jolly came to our house and we received an estimate in 4 days from the time we had called. Jolly was $800 lower than the other company. We called Jolly to get a contract and to get some roofing samples. After we had picked out the shingles, we asked if they had an example of that roof in the Memphis area. We were able to look at a completed house with the shingle we had picked. They said that it would be about two weeks before they were able to start. About two weeks later they called and started the next day. The job took two days. It appeared they used subcontractors with Jolly personnel as supervision. They did a great job and kept the work site clean and picked up both days. They responded to all questions that I asked. Very pleased with the finished project and how Jolly responded to all of my questions and requests.

Jolly replaced the skylight where others I called did not want to get involved with this work. Upon inspection, Mr. Jolly immediately spotted the source of the roof leak from a previously-installed roofing replacement and he fixed the leak. Overall, I am very happy with his responsiveness and his work.

We were pretty pleased with their service. They were very easy to work with. They were willing to work around our schedule and they were hassle free. We had a couple of small leaks around the chimney when they were finished so we called them and they sent someone right back to get the job done.
