I have over 35 years of experience. I take great care in all I do. I am a hard working independent and no subcontractors are used. I always keep home owners up-to-date on repairs as it progresses. i agreed to his price; however i felt he was a bit too pricy. it took him just over two hrs. to complete the job. he swept the floor when he finished the job. i think steve could have been neater in his work. i don't think i will call steve back for more work. he is a nice person.
"I feel a gave a fear price for the job. The house is an much older home and the walls and floors where no longer plumb and had to retro fit the wall and I have to cut out the header because the door purchased was too tall. That is why I quoted the price I did. I felt I was very clean for the amount of space I had to work in, which was very small area."
We scheduled an appointment two days later.
He arrived early and was able to start right away. He replaced the garbage disposal, reset a section of siding that was blown by high winds, painted the utility room and assembled a cabinet. He started promptly and worked without a break. Everything he did met or exceeded our expectations. We will DEFINITELY contract him for other work as we need it.
Another thing, I do not like smoking or the smell of smoke on a person's body or breath and he was really bad so that was a double negative. Too bad too, cause he had a good rating on Angie's/
"There must have been some miss understaning here. I take full responability here . What i do is to give a quote and then let people deside to call me if they wish to call me. I try not to bother people once a quote is given. As to the snoking. That is a personal struggle for me. I am working on quiting. Something i have not mastered yet. I do not smoke while working or on the property of the projects."
He was on time and very friendly and professional. When he went to remove the old faucet unit it was so old and rusted that he had to cut it off. While under the sink he spotted an leaking pipe that I didnt know was leaking. Also very old and rusted thru. He replaced the piping as well.
The work was done in a reasonable amount of time and he did a good job of clean up when he was done. Im having him come back on another project that im starting soon. He was very helpful in getting the permit for my upcoming project.Licensing
