appliance repair
+ -1 moreI live in orange county new york. When we remolded in 2005 we bought Jenn Air kitchen appliances. Not 6 months go buy without a problem. Cook top-replaced 4 times, dishwasher motor replaced, dishwasher door replaced twice. Two electric problems with microwave oven. water filter problem and drawer problem on refrigerator, now 2 more bins on refrigerator a new ice maker and rails for freezer doors, estimated repair $500 parts, $200 labor. Jenn Air customer service polite but limited. Recommended Quality Electric in Florida New York Proved to be incompetent. Although Jenn Air recommends other dealers many will not travel to my location. Last time dishwasher broke in July, Jenn Air recommended Whiteford Keaghy of Monroe, NY. Excellent, honest on time and efficient.. Freezer problems last week dictated a common sense phone call to Whiteford Keaghy in Monroe. Now I find out less than a month later that Jenn Air no longer considers Whiteford Keaghy an authorized repair service? Jenn Air will only pay for labor? DONT BUY JENN AIR APPLIANCES
Description of Work: Having problems with jenn air kitchen appliances since day purchased nov, 2005. can't go 6 months without repair of one or more kitchen appliances. customer service recommends authorized dealer for local repair. proves incompetent. Get differerant one. excellent. now that the refrigerator is broken for the third time customer service claims that the new authorized dealer they recommended is no longer authorized. They will pay for all repair costs (est $700) if I use original repair service that was awful. I am at my wits end.
